The "Alte Metzg" is the slightly different accommodation in the village of Appenzell. In the over 500-year-old house, the boutique guesthouse and the hostel invite you for a relaxing and carefree stay. The entire building was newly renovated in 2021. Pension and hostel are two independent areas, rooms can be booked individually. Charming place (with breakfast possible) with Wi-Fi, near Walensee. In 5 minutes you can reach Walensee, the train station, the Murg motorway exit. In 2 min ship stop Murg, Post office, ATM, village shop. 5-10 min walk to restaurants. Winter and summer-friendly with wonderful hiking routes as well as gondola lift to the ski resort. Room also longer term for rent. Then, however, you can get a parking space at an extra cost. Kitchen and bathroom can be used.

Cubi Studio

The studio is ideal for longer stays. It offers a small kitchen with a coffee machine on 25 m2, next to a comfortable bed (180 x 200), a small dining/work table with 2 stools, a closet, a wardrobe with a suitcase rack and a stylish bathroom with a rain shower. Of course, the studio has WiFi, a safe and a TV. Kitchen: there are pans but no oil or spices. Frying pans are not allowed for fire safety reasons. Please register pets (fees apply).

Guesthouse"Landhaus an der Thur"

Our"Landhaus an der Thur" is centrally located in the village of Alt St. Johann. It has 7 double rooms, some with balcony. All are individually furnished and equipped with TV/radio/WIFI. A coffee corner with free coffee/tea, as well as a fridge for personal fresh produce is available to our guests. We don't serve breakfast. Within 100 meters there are two restaurants and a grocery store. Daily cleaning is included.

Welcome to our small, traditional hotel, with a family atmosphere and personal management. In the studio room with kitchenette, you have your own little apartment.
