Holiday rentals with a kayak in St. John

The view from Karen's place is unlike any other in USVI and the sunrises each morning were incredible! Her place is quiet, has everything you'll need to include beach chairs, coolers, etc. We highly recommend her villa!

Alison’s place was really cute and comfortable. It had everything we needed. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we cooked breakfast there every morning. We really appreciated all the beach equipment - a huge plus! The deck was lovely too. The location was very convenient to Coral Bay and all the East and South side beaches. We loved staying there and would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the Coral Bay Area.

Karen’s Airbnb is beautiful! Unfortunately my trip was cut short and I didn’t have much time to enjoy it, but the views are gorgeous and Karen provides tons of recommendations for things to do.

This was our first trip to the VI. Turtle's Nest was a perfect kick-off to the many beaches, restaurants and shops in the area. The beautiful gardens and pond gave pleasing and peaceful aesthetics to the location. All the basics were met, and then some, with special welcoming touches and a most comfortable setting. Thank you for offering a spot that truly enhanced the overall experience!

Location and view are incredible. Caron and Dave have invested lovingly in their villa, and the private guest porch, pool and deck are top-notch. Their hospitality makes the experience even better. The room is clean, cozy and comfortable. The bed is so comfortable - we need to get one just like it for home. On most of the island, cell and internet can be spotty, so plan accordingly. However we were able to cool down at night to our favorites on Netflix via their Roku with no interruptions. We did not get the chance to kayak from the property, but we plan to next time. The coral beach however is magically beautiful. We cooked steaks (Starfish market) on the grill one night with our neighbors from the other suite, and had a wonderful time. The best thing of all though is looking out at the bay from the pool - simply spectacular. Thanks Caron and Dave for sharing your beautiful villa!

Simple and unforgettable experience. This is a beautiful boat that’s been well-traveled and meticulously maintained. Sequoia picked us up on the beach in a dinghy and gave a concise, funny, and engaging orientation explaining the basic workings of the sailboat. Garry was quiet, kind, and helpful. Pack your stuff in a backpack or shoulder bag; you’ll have to wade a little to get on the dinghy! Sitting on deck watching the stars, then getting cozy in polished wooden bunks with cool Caribbean breeze drifting through the open hatches while you’re rocked to sleep by the waves…heaven! Note: this is not a *private* experience. Sequoia and Garry live life parallel to you while you’re on the boat. If you’re thinking of a romantic getaway or want full control of the vessel, this is not for you. If you want to be in warmly welcomed onto a REAL, working sailboat and get a sense of what life is like on the sea (which I wanted), this is a once-in-lifetime chance. I’m so grateful Sequoia offers it!
