Holiday rentals with a fire pit in St. Mary's County

I don’t know if I can express how much I loved our stay at Rich and Yumi’s place. The property is very beautiful, private and very peaceful. We enjoyed fishing and taking in all of the sights and sounds of nature surrounding us. The fire pit area and hot tub were very nice additions to the property. The house was very clean and comfortable. The house was very well stocked. Rich and Yumi pay great attention to detail. We were greeted by a nice welcome basket and card to welcome us. After departing we realized that my daughter had forgotten a few items. Rich was very responsive and helpful in locating the items and arranging to ship them to us. I absolutely fell in love with this place and definitely plan to return in the future. Thank you very much Rich and Yumi for sharing your amazing property with us!

Enjoyed the stay!

My wife, 4 year old son and I enjoyed a week at John’s beautiful home on the Patuxent River. The house and property were perfect and the views were amazing every day. The house had everything we needed and we felt right at home. He was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. We look forward to staying here again in the summer!

This was our second stay at Beach Please and it was just as delightful as the first! The house was again squeaky clean, thoughtfully decorated and had plenty of room for our multi-generational family to spread out. Grandparents appreciated the first floor master bedroom and kiddos loved the game room, and the crafts and puzzles upstairs. The neighborhood is peaceful and cozy, with beautiful views in every direction. The addition of the acoustic guitar for songs by the firepit was a major plus, as our ten year old is a music lover and almost brought her own. We had a great stay and would recommend this AirBnB to anyone! Grab a week (or two) and don't think twice.

Came here for my 30th birthday with some friends and it was the most amazing time! There’s so much to do at this house! We went kayaking, hung out in the hot tub, played lawn games, made smores with the fire pit, grilled and used the zip line. The interior was also very fun! It was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Brooke was extremely communicative and accommodating. I would love to come back in the future!

We were looking for a nice, peaceful place to celebrate my grandson’s 3rd birthday and Landon’s place hit the spot exactly! Not only met expectations but exceeded them. Such an amazing view of the water and the house’s open floor plan was roomy yet still cozy at the same time. Landon was very responsive and provided clear instructions for our stay. We were able to bring our two small dogs so that was an added bonus! Absolutely loved the paddle boards, treehouse, tree swing, trampoline, and fire pit! Both beaches were so easy to get to and the privacy of them was great. My grandson didn’t want to leave and my kids already want to plan another trip here. Truly felt like home away from home and we can’t wait to come back! Thanks for making this a memorable birthday for our big guy 🥰🥳

Beautiful, relaxing, multi-family house right on the water. The outdoor space is huge and completely fenced in so our kids and dogs could run free safely. The house itself is full of things to do (karaoke machine, hot tub, ping pong, etc.), and is also really close to several state parks, beaches, and more. We will definitely be back!

Everything about our stay was perfect! Hosts were super easy to communicate with, very kind and considerate (offering an early check in and late check out since we were staying for very short amount of time) I’ve stayed in many Airbnb’s and this is by far the best! They thought of everything to make you feel at home. We absolutely loved watching the sunset out back while roasting marshmallows in the fire pit and the kids loved the private beach. The house decor was beautiful as well. No one wanted to leave! We will definitely be back!

So very peaceful. Loved watching the birds fly off an on to the neighboring pier. Fit our needs perfectly and with the well stocked kitchen we were able to prepare our Thanksgiving meal.

We had a great stay. This place is tucked away and private, but also close to the action- plenty of restaurants, bars, and recreation. Park your car and walk everywhere. Don’t be afraid to bring your dog. This is a great spot for having adventures with your pup or for leaving them in the apartment for a bit. Space was clean and comfortable. Hosts were proactive and accommodating. We hope to come back.

This review is for a second stay as my partner and I had such a great experience our first stay, we didn't even look for other spots when we had to arrange travel plans a second time. This place is such a great deal - you get way more than what one would expect at such a price. And the hosts are truly wonderful folks - super responsive, kind, warm, and helpful, immediately responding to inquiries as they arose. Thank you Denise for your hospitality. The space, amenities offered, and helpful communication on your end made this trip one of our best yet. We really couldn't have asked for a better experience.

This is a beautiful waterfront property located close to everything that Lexington Park had to offer. The host has organized the apartment very neatly with lots of useful information and entertainment. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again

Beautiful place hidden in Southern Maryland. Great for someone that wants to get away and have access to restaurants, hiking, etc but away from commercial traffic. The large property is very peaceful and has unique architecture.

Mary’s place, Heron’s Cove, exceeded our expectations. The home is filled with quality, comfortable furniture and has a nice homey feel to it. The home is outfitted with all we needed for a pleasant stay. Every kitchen appliance imaginable is provided as well as all we needed in toiletries, extra towels, blankets, etc. The setting is very peaceful and quiet with great views through a mature forest of the Patuxent River. Our family loved it. Mary’s communications with us were regular, making sure we had all we needed. The whole trip was very relaxing…we highly recommend her place and look forward to returning. What a calm and peaceful private retreat! My fiancée and I spent a couple of days enjoying the brisk bay breezes and beautiful sunsets at Vickie’s. Everything was exactly as advertised and Vickie (and Scott) are true treasures—extremely responsive and thoughtful hosts who want you to have everything you need. Plus, their knowledge of the area gave us a great introduction to Leonardtown. So much more to the area than we thought! Whether birdwatching from “the best view on the block” or reflecting on the glider by the bay, we loved every moment of quiet and can’t wait to visit again. Thank you!

Comfy place to stay the night. Great large space with updated large shower. Access to common areas which we didn’t need as only there for the night. We would just have liked a secure door into the room. Didn’t seem like anyone else was staying at the time.

We had a wonderful stay at this newly remodeled Airbnb! The space is beautifully updated and thoughtfully decorated, especially the spacious bedrooms which were both comfortable and stylish. The game room was such a fun addition and perfect for relaxing in the evenings. We especially loved the firepit area and the cozy swing chairs—great touches that made the outdoor space inviting. The only thing missing was some patio or outdoor dining furniture to make full use of the lovely yard, but overall, this was a fantastic place to stay. Would definitely recommend and consider staying again!

We loved our experience at John’s cabin! It was so incredibly peaceful - our host could not have been more friendly & helpful, even on a holiday weekend, the woods were beautiful surrounding the lovely cabin on a hill, and the beds were comfy. We definitely wished we were staying longer than a weekend!

The weather blessed us with warmth upon arrival to Pizza Friday. Although making pizza was a new skill we gained in the moment, the fun we had while doing it was everything we wanted. We had a chance to use the fire pit, kayaks and games in the house. The kids enjoyed sleeping in tents on the ground and the Easter egg hunt scattered along the lovely property. The host was super responsive and allowed us to check in early at no additional cost. I think I may have messaged him a few times about AC and fire wood and there was no hesitation on getting back to me. The family loved this Airbnb and we have already planned an additional trip in the future.

A fair and open spaced home. Free of clutter. Many updated electronics I didn't expect. Only drawback was the microwave. It had a lagging door switch that locked when it was ready. If your impatience, it would test your nerves. A shower that was plenty hot and spacious. Loved the size of the home and location, I want to rent this again.

Just a stunning location! The bird watching was marvelous, every morning a pair of swans landed and swam around until dusk. Lots of blue herons, too. Good fishing right out of the back yard. The kitchen was very well appointed, good cookware, plates, cups, etc. bed were comfortable with really nice pillows. We spent most of our time around the fire pit or on the screened porch. A great place for relaxing!

We had a great time Michael’s place. The house was very roomy and comfortable. The view of the water was wonderful, and it was peaceful hearing the waves at night. The kitchen was well-stocked in terms of cooking tools. The campgrounds were quiet while we were there and we felt like we had plenty of privacy.
