Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Steuben County

Had a girl’s weekend and there was plenty of space for everyone to sleep. Decor was stylish, plenty of seating arrangements, and plenty of outdoor activities. Beautiful house, great scenery, and owner was great communicator!

Loved the location - right in the lake, great lawn for games, fire pit with great view of stars, friendly neighbors, dock for our boat, little walk in beach. The house is older but that’s part of the charm. Watched the sunrise from balcony off one of the bedrooms. Host responded instantly when I had questions. We can’t wait for next year!

We were familiar with the area since our parents had lived two doors down. When we checked in, we had the pleasure of meeting the homeowner and made us feel welcomed as he was leaving. He let us know that that there were mats off of the pier, which made swimming there more pleasurable so your feet didn't directly touch the muck on the bottom of the lake. The home was a great space since it had plenty of room for our family. We had an awesome time enjoying time with our kids and grandchild on Lake James. While the primary bedroom had a separate unit and fan to compensate, the only caution I would have is that HVAC unit for the main level was not adequate for the much hotter weather or when cooking in the kitchen.

Ash’s place was great! She was helpful and responsive when we needed assistance. Willing to go out of her way for us during our stay. Would recommend.

This home is absolutely phenomenal! So much space, fantastic screened in porch, beautiful lake view and spotlessly clean. There are so many helpful items like plenty of linens, hooks for clothes, children’s items, paper products and soap. The host was very proactive to communicate a house issue they were resolving before our stay, but wanted to be open about it. They answered any question we had quickly and were so kind to communicate with. They have been so thoughtful in how they present their home for Airbnb and this has been one of our best Airbnb experiences. Would love to stay at their home again.

we stayed here for my sisters wedding in Hamilton, they were dog friendly which was a HUGE factor we needed. The place was absolutely beautiful, so much so we talked about taking another trip here when we can actually enjoy being on the lake. Michele’s responses were very quick, super friendly and informative!

This place is so beautiful! Everything Tom says in the listing is accurate! The house was extremely clean and packed with everything you could need! The views are amazing! I was able to park my boat on the dock and we had a wonderful time! Tom responds promptly to all messages you send and his place is a real gem! Thanks Tom for letting us stay at your beautiful home!!

Everything was great and just as described. Our family had a lot of fun! The only small negative was the grill and griddle were left a mess. I cleaned the cooking surfaces but the rest really needs a good cleaning. Still give it 5 stars!
