Schiphol is 45 minutes by public transportation, 20 minutes by car. Outside the door is the river Angstel and the Vinkeveense lakes.

De Boomgaard (The Orchard) is in the walled garden of an 18th-century house on the legendary Vecht River, where Dutch country life was born. The b&b is a complete cottage of great charm and comfort. Guests have their own entrance, with free parking a few steps from the door. They have their own entirely private bathroom and kitchen.

The apartment is located in the outskirts of Breukelen on the river De Vecht, near the Loosdrechtse Plassen, centrally located between Amsterdam and Utrecht in a beautiful, rural area with beautiful estates on the Vecht. Ideal for cycling, hiking and boating, city trips and fishing.

The unique thing about the BnB is its location near Utrecht and Amsterdam but in the middle of Natura 2000. The Bethunepolder is the lowest part of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. Meadows, fens, ditches and woods provide a beautiful nature reserve and a special breeding ground for birds. With the Vecht, Loosdrechtse and Maarsseveense lakes within walking distance, it is a great location with Thermen Maarssen, a luxury spa only 5 minutes away.

In our garden, above our garage we have a spacious and light studio, which has been totally renovated in 2020. You enter the studio through a private entrance in our garden. The studio is isolated and has an electric heating system. The studio is a perfect hide away for a (long) weekend or holiday, near the waters of Loosdrecht, which are perfect for a boat trip. Amsterdam (20 min. by car) and Utrecht (35 min. by car) are close by.
