Holiday rentals with a kayak in Stichtse Vecht

This place is really nice. Beautiful house and surroundings! The pets (chickens and rabbits) are trustful and sweet. Contact to the owners was nice, fast and friendly and got a big list of how everything works and recommendations for activities. We really liked the stay and cannot find anything bad about it. Big recommendation!

Two years ago, during a bike ride along the Vecht, we stood at the drawbridge in Loenen aan de Vecht: “ wow, you will live here!” At the time, we didn't know that we were able to experience it for almost a week two years later. Edward's house is a particularly cozy and characteristic house near the bridge on the Vecht. You can enjoy all the boats sailing by for hours on the bench. The house is comfortable, everything is present. Well-equipped kitchen, good beds, cozy decor. The garden is a living space in itself. The immediate surroundings resembles an open-air museum. There is plenty to do, cycling, hiking and of course sailing. Edward responds quickly and has good tips for things to do and where to eat. We've taken advantage of that. We had a great time. Recommended.

Our stay in this lovely villa was truly a highlight! The house is very modern, stylish, and furnished with great attention to detail - we felt completely at home. The peaceful location and the view of the water provided pure relaxation. Ginger and Pepsi, the two cats, were the absolute highlight for us and made our stay even more special! The management was super friendly and helpful, and every question was answered quickly. We’d love to return in summer to enjoy the amazing outdoor activities like the SUP boards. Highly recommended! We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house is exactly as shown in the photos – spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The surroundings are calm and peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax. Near the center (the public transportation is a 5 minute walk away) The host was fantastic: very kind, super communicative, and always available if we needed anything. Everything was clearly explained, and he made sure we had access to all the amenities. This place is truly a hidden gem – the quality you get for the price is outstanding. In a newer and peaceful neighborhood, Marguerite’s place offered us a very private and scenic stay. The bedroom window looked out to the water and we rested well in the super comfortable bed. With the well-equipped kitchen and a supermarket nearby, we enjoyed local cheese, fruits, and yogurt. There’s a local bakery within easy walking distance, we really enjoyed their wholesome breads and pastries. Plus, Marguerite had a gourmet Jura espresso machine in the kitchen filled with beans, it was terrific for coffee drinkers. Take tram 26 to the city and back, it’s convenient and easy. It was truly an amazing stay.

We had a great time at Arjen's place. The house is very nice, very beautifully decorated, in a quiet area, ideal for a family of 4. Very nice very well equipped kitchen. The parking space is a real plus knowing that then you can go to the center of Amsterdam in 20 minutes thanks to the nearby tram station. The house must be very nice in summer with the terrace by the water. We hope to return and recommend this rental 100%!

What an amazing place to stay it with kids, there was so much space around the lodge which all felt really safe to let them explore different activities. There was a quite a few groups there but it was never noisy or overcrowded. The lodges were really cool and different to what we stayed in previously, it did go a little cold one of the nights we were there but they were still comfortable and nice (you can rent heaters if needed). We would 100% come back in the future if we travel that way again. We went for a trip to Amsterdam which was easy to get to and Sprookjeswonderland which I would recommend too with children under 6/7

I have really enjoyed my stay. The place is very clean and cozy, and it’s close to spots where you can see tulips. The town is also very charming. Tim is very helpful and responds within a short time. I recommend this place. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay at Wendela's. We were warmly welcomed. The "Rosenhäuschen" was exactly what we had imagined. It was our home away from home. And we'll be back for sure.

Exactly like I imagined if not better!

We had a great weekend. Very peaceful place, we disconnect completely . Frogs and birds were singing. We have the company of some ducks in the morning on the dock 😍 The setting is manifest. When checkout time arrives, you don't want to leave. Beautiful walk around the polders and possibility to take a boat ride. Frédérica is very welcoming and speaks French very well. Don't hesitate, if you love nature and tranquility.

Very nice accommodation in an outstanding location. We felt very comfortable. Ideal for excursions. Everything very easy to reach and very quietly located right on the water. Very tasty breakfast from Esther for a fee. We will be happy to come back sometime. Thanks to Esther & Marc as friendly hosts.

We had a very nice time. The house is great, you have everything you need and it was all very clean. The location is fantastic. You have a large private garden and a private jetty. Haarlem is accessible by bike and extremely beautiful. Also a very good supermarket and a nice restaurant are only 1 km away. Amsterdam and the beach can be reached by car within 20 minutes. So you can do a lot and are still very much on your own and in nature.

The ice cream house is really beautiful and cozy. You'll feel very welcomed. The place is tiny but feels so cozy and has everything you need. I would recommend to bring an eye mask. The place has curtains and shades but still gets very bright in the morning. I would come back any time!

The place was great, and the hosts Erik and Jaël were excellent, very friendly and informing everything. The accommodation comes with everything you need to have a pleasant stay, with a kitchen with everything you need to be able to cook (oven, vitro, sandwich box..) and a full bathroom also with everything you need. The place is in Watergang, about 10 minutes from Amaterdam Central Station which is easily and quickly reached by a bus. If we go back to Amsterdam we would definitely go back

The place is really nice and big with a huge living area. You're in the middle of the countryside with farm animals and a colorful peacock. The hosts are adorable and friendly people always ready to satisfy the guest: on Sundays they prepare a great buffet for brunch and serve it in the garden. We loved the peace and calm of this place.

We had the most wonderful stay in this charming cabin nestled on the property of a windmill in Alkmaar. From the moment we arrived, our hosts Kelly and Han made us feel completely at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect—so kind, welcoming, and full of great local tips. The cabin itself is a dream—coziness taken to the next level. Every detail was thoughtfully put together, and it was the perfect place to unwind to relax. Waking up next to a windmill felt like something out of a fairytale. Alkmaar itself is a beautiful village full of history, with adorable shops and restaurants to explore. The charming canals add to the magical atmosphere, and it’s easy to hop on a train to Amsterdam for a day trip. We’re already dreaming of our return and feel so lucky to have made such lovely new friends in Kelly and Han. Highly recommend this magical spot to anyone visiting The Netherlands!
