On the island, you will find the UNESCO World Heritage site Hovgården, rune stones and history since the Viking Age. The property is connected to the Old Rectory on Adelsö, where a Hilma af Klint Center will open in 2025.

With Lake Mälaren's glittering waters just a short walk away, it's easy to be lured to a swim at Stockbybadet. We are close to the big city but still in the countryside and with walking distance to both a grocery store and a lovely pastry shop, you will be happy to stay a little longer.
