After a day out, you can enjoy the fireplace, the sauna and the fantastic views from the large windows. Temporary construction work is taking place on the garage on the property on weekdays between approximately 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. This may cause some noise during these periods. The price of the stay has been set with this in mind.

The Firehouse - Thujord Farm

The firehouse at Thujord Gard was once used as a rough kitchen and house room for servants. More recently, it has been renovated to be a room for activities and overnight guests on the farm. Here you have the opportunity to stay in a firehouse from the early 1800s, located in the garden with idyllic views of Gudbrandsdalen. The house has an old-fashioned feel, but has modern facilities such as kitchen and bathroom. In season you can pick berries and fruits right from the garden, and you can see the calves grazing on the field next door.

Lots of hiking opportunities in both summer and winter right from the door. About 1 km skiing through the forest to the trail network to Skeikampen. The cabin sleeps 5, plus crib, equipped kitchen, heat pump, wood-burning stove and dishwasher and washing machine. Bed linen and towels incl. Must have 4x4 in winter. 15 min to city center and Skeikampen, 30 min to Lillehammer and 45 min to Hunderfossen.

It also has a large sauna with amazing views of Hafjell. NB, the last two beds are in the daybed in the living room, so this is best suited for children. Driving times: Hafjell/Hunderfossen: 25 mins. Skeikampen: 25 min Kvitfjell: 35 min.
