Close to Ålesund, a perfect place to stay if you love mountain trips and want to explore the Sunnmørsalpane. From the beach it is not far to Geiranger or Hellesylt/Urc, and about 20 minutes from Ekornes Outdoor Pool. 200 meters to the ski lift/100m to the lake

Cabin at Fjellsetra, Sykkylven

Spacious cabin with great views and hiking terrain right outside the door. The cabin is located near the ski resort (ski in/ski out) and nice prepared cross-country trails and floodlit trails are just nearby. The area also has great hiking opportunities on foot. Fjellsetra is a good starting point for many nice mountain trips in summer and winter. It is also a good starting point for a day trip to Geiranger and Ålesund. In the summer you can also fish in Nysætervatnet (must buy a fishing license).

Welcome to our cabin located in the heart of Sunnmørsalpene. The area is perfect for mountain-hiking all year, and both alpine and cross-country skiing in winter. The Alpine resort Sunnmørsalpane and Strandafjellet skiresort is a short drive from the cabin. And the cross-country skiing trails is just outside the doorstep. The cabin was built in 2020, modern but cosy. Relax inside or out on the terrace, after a day of activity or just to unwind in beautiful Norwegian scenery.
