The house dating from the early 1800's, with a later extension, has living, dining and kitchen area, two bedrooms and bathroom. There are great views across Strangford Lough to the coastal village of Portaferry. Strangford village is a great location near historic houses, castles and the Mourne mountains. It has great restaurants, pubs and perfect for Game of Thrones enthusiasts.

The Little Birdhouse

Its name is both a nod to Bird Island on Strangford Lough and a reflection of our aim to create a cosy nest in which guests feel snug, comfy and relaxed. The cottage has recently been renovated but retains its historic charm. On the ground floor, a sitting/dining area and kitchen. On the upper floor a sleeping area with double bed , and shower room. Our 13 acre smallholding is a wildlife friendly oasis and guests are welcome to relax in the large garden or walk around the woodland and meadows.

We are situated in Greyabbey village in walking distance of the wedding venue Orange Tree, Antique shops, eateries, beautiful Strangford Lough, The Abbey ... ideally situated to explore the Ards Peninsula. Breakfast is available from mid November 2023 downstairs in Olive from 9am to 11am Wednesday-Sunday.
