Family-friendly holiday rentals in Strawberry

I had an absolutely incredible time here and when we were on the way out, we were met with a medical emergency in which Nick was very quick to help with additional nights while we sorted things out at the Payson ER. I was greeted by Elk in one of the most beautiful backyards I've ever seen, and while we weren't able to try the hot tub - it looked very clean and the temp was perfect. The game room was AWESOME and all of the technology (WiFi, streaming services) worked as they should. Can't wait to come back - thank you SO MUCH NICK!

Perfect space for a getaway for me and my wife. Cozy and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend.

Super cute space, cozy vibes. this space was perfect for a writing work retreat. perfect with a small office in the corner, a large dining room table to spread out my papers, and a comfy living room. the hot tub was a perfect treat after a long day of writing. the space was perfectly set up for guests, and yet you can tell that the owners use this space too. i personally love that, and makes me care for the space even more knowing that they opened it up to share with others.

At this luxurious oasis in the desert, we thoroughly enjoyed a fun family gathering over New Year's. What a pleasure to relax in Wendy's two beautifully appointed spacious suites, each with its own jacuzzi and shower, direct TV service, and secluded patio. Outdoors, several seating areas and a hot tub overlooked the sublime, babbling Beaver Creek. A separate cabin offered another queen bedroom, but without its own bath, so guests need to share the king bedroom's facilities in the main house. We especially enjoyed the several gas and wood fireplaces throughout and the exceptionally well-equipped kitchen at the heart of it all. Totally a top-notch place near all the sights in and around Sedona, Cottonwod, Jerome, and Flagstaff.

This was an amazing place to stay. We will definitely be back again. The place was so cozy and quiet we loved it absolutely perfect.

Great stay. We loved the cabin. Room for everyone to sleep, spread out, and relax. The cabin is in a rural area, which makes it a very relaxing quiet stay. Downtown Cottonwood right down Main Street as is Safeway and Dairy Queen. Sedona 20 minutes away. We all enjoyed what Cottonwood had to offer. Host communicated well, and messaged us immediately. We enjoyed our 10-day stay in Rimrock, where the sunsets were spectacular and the night sky brilliant. The cozy casita was ideally situated for easy access to sublime hiking in the Red Rocks, day trips to Flag, Jerome, Cottonwood and local National Monuments, followed by afternoon stops at our favorite vineyard, Javelina Leap. Charlie and Nina were thoughtful and responsive hosts who created a welcoming, immaculate and inviting space for the three of us. Our dog, Boo, absolutely loved his porch and backyard, which became his personal domain and favorite place to soak up the sun!

Quiet, safe, easy to find & comfortable. Had everything I needed. Clean home with clean linens & towels in like no condition. Host was very responsive with clear instructions.

Great quiet place. The sound of running water was very relaxing. We had a hiccup with the code not working after 45 minutes, finally got the correct code and got it. It’s just a mile away from the Water Wheel Falls trailhead. We’ll be back again.

Great cabin to stay during your hunt, has everything you need and more had a great time with friends. Will keep in mind for future trips.

Saving grace and beautiful place!! We were caught in an odd spring snowfall! I was able to book Jennifer’s place easily for an instant book and was perfect for a family and friend’s weekend. We were stranded a few hours from turning back and canceling our Easter getaway but thankfully Jennifer’s place was readily available and booked easily for two nights at a great price! The amenities were more than worth the price. The lay out is great for a family with kids, couples or two families with a few kids. The kitchen is fully stocked, a grill onsite and beautiful wrap around porch and nice furnishings. Washer and dryer onsite. Jennifer’s place made us feel like we’re home. My teen daughter and her friend’s group had a blast, we will be back for a do over weekend and will be booking Jennifer’s place.

Great place to visit when visiting Payson/Mogollon Rim area. It was exactly what we needed for our weekend away.

There aren’t enough good words to say about this place. This place and the friendliness of Shauna made our trip fabulous. We went for a wedding which can be stressful preparing for the event. Coming back to the house after a day of decorating, preparing foods, practicing and dealing with a lot of family was nice to be able to come and relax. The porches front and back were so relaxing. We will DEFINITELY be coming back…

Second time here. My kids love the goats next door and the neighbor is kind. Home is cozy and peaceful in the middle of nature. Close to creek. Nice walks in morning and early evenings. -Would recommend more instructions on thermostat for operating heating instructions - not everyone is tech savvy! -Loved the snacks but just double check expiry. Would stay again. Cute house in Payson surrounds . Host very responsive which was great.

Beautiful Property! We were a group of 7 families and we rented the Homestead, Oak and Ponderosa Cabins and the size of the cabins fit us perfectly! We had a lot of fun in both the living room area and outdoor dining area of the Homestead Cabin. The kitchen is fully stocked and we were able to prepare our food properly. The grounds are great and perfect for family getaways. The kids enjoyed the pond, the sports court, hiking around the property, and even had a chance to feed the kids. Scott and Barbara are great on property and made us feel welcome and Gaby was very responsive, answering all our questions throughout. Thank you Mountain Ridge Cabins! We'll be back!
