On Strawberry Creek in Idyllwild's historic district, the Owl Pine Guest Cabin was built in 1922. It's the best of both worlds w/ plenty of nature (burbling creek, rock paths, trees, birds, mountain air, stars) + close to civilization (the property is near restaurants/shops). Native rock fireplace, hot tub, eclectic art, record collection/player, games, books, TV, Wifi, BBQ, fire pit hang deck. We have a chicken coop, happy to leave eggs at the cabin upon request. At DTWild you can soak in the hot tub, rekindle by the fire, bbq, ping pong under the pines, nap in the hammock, stargaze, explore, watch movies, work if you must, play games, namaste it up, dance it off, play in the snow, howl at the moon, and yes we have Wifi.

The cabin rests a pleasant 8 minute/3 mile drive away from downtown Idyllwild. The tactile rock formations visible from the main deck of the cabin are easily accessible from the main road, and only 2 minute walk from the cabin.

Close to town & Newly Renovated, Large Gated Yard

Less than a half a mile away from Idyllwild's town center our very family friendly cabin will be a great place for your group to stay and explore the Idyllwild area. Our remodelled camping themed cabin has two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a loft play area for the kids with their own tv and camping area, and a fully fenced in yard. You can pull into our driveway, close the gate and leave the car behind as you relax in our wooded yard and deck area or take the short walk into town.

The cabin has 2 apartments - this listing is for the upstairs unit, which has one bedroom, one bathroom, full kitchen, dining area, a loft for a dedicated workspace and a beautiful deck. The cabin sits in a large, tree lined lot that is shared with the downstairs basement apartment. The only shared space is the backyard and laundry room (laundry available upon request).
