On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

From the veranda there is a panoramic view of the emerald green Oppstrynsvatnet and the surrounding mountains, as well as views of the glacier Breifonna which is an arm from Jostedalsbreen. Fully equipped new kitchen, dining table for twelve people, sofa group, WiFi, Apple TV, bathroom with shower, laundry room with extra toilet and sink. Washing machine and dryer as well as iron and ironing board. Beach and hiking areas just outside the door.

Towards Hoven Restaurant/Loen Skylift, Loen, Olden, the fjord and the surrounding mountains. Right outside the cabin, you have many hiking opportunities. Among other things, you can walk to Rakssetra and on to the Hoven/Loen ski lift. The chalet is at the end of a private road and the area is quiet and peaceful. There is barbecue at the cabin for fine evenings with sunset in the fjord. There is a fireplace in the living room and it comes with firewood that can be used if it gets cold. There is also electric heating in every room. Bed linen and cleaning are included in the price.
