The Hut on the Brett

Our shepherd’s hut is situated in a private part of our garden on the banks of the River Brett in the historic village of Lavenham, a two-minute walk from the Market Place with its Medieval Guildhall and Little Hall, a 14th century hall house. Lavenham has much to offer with its listed buildings, independent shops, restaurants, pubs and two small but well-stocked supermarkets. Footpaths make it easy to access the surrounding countryside and enjoy views of the village and its magnificent church.

Treat yourself to an idyllic cottage with its own private rose garden with a yoga/dance studio and fresh water swimming pond. Enjoy a BBQ/ fire pit with private dining or cuddle up with the cosy log burner. Walk freely around the 75 acre award-wining medieval hunting lodge estate called Letheringham Lodge or swim in its wild swimming pond just around the corner from your cottage! A wonderfully restyled 2 double bedroomed cottage is only a short drive to Shingle St, Aldeburgh and Southwold.
