“Arrigo’s place was great. Balcony for breakfast with view of garden, comfy bed and grey shower! Also extremely well priced. Arrigo goes out of his way to make sure you have all you need. I felt safe there as a solo traveller and spent hours wandering around this beautiful city. Description is very accurate so was as expected. Perfect!”
Podere Montecucco is an old stone farmhouse which has been restored by Lois and Paul as their home. We have one room dedicated to B&B with a high, chestnut-beamed ceiling, a handmade 4-poster bed made up with Egyptian cotton sheets and lovely views over the garden. Surrounded by uncontaminated, often fallow fields and woodlands, a stay here is ideal for those who want to be in a rural location but within easy reach of Orvieto just 8kms distant and the clear waters of lake Bolsena 13kms away.
“We loved our stay! The beautiful house is only slightly out of Orvieto but just far enough that you’re away from the busyness. Breakfast daily was Devine with fresh crossaints and home made jams and stewed rhubarb. Lois gave us some great recommendations for local restaurants and made us feel so welcome. The cats that live at the home are super lovely too. The accomodation is central to so many other destinations in the area and it made a good base. We enjoyed our local wine we bought in town in the beautifully kept garden. Would recommend this to anyone who is coming to Italy for some time out!”
Small room with a kitchenette and private bathroom, located in the medieval town of Orvieto, is two minutes away from Piazza della Repubblica. Very close to the bus stop that can take you directly from and to the railway station. It is located near the two Exits of the Campo della Fiera (Elevators and Escalators). The room is located 50 meters from the scenic promenade.
“Wonderful very clean small separate apartment, everything you need is there, a small kitchenette with accessories, a hairdryer. To check in, you need to take the keys in another place, in the office, you can leave your luggage there if you arrived before the time of check-in. The town is small and everything is close there, but in order to find an apartment I had to stray along the alleys and it is better to do it until it gets dark.”
