Well-equipped cabin from 2020/1850 by Hestadfjorden

The cabin is 120 sqm and was completed in the spring of 2020. The cabin is of very high quality with "Madsstova" from before 1850 - originally from Jølster. The cabin has 2 fireplaces, laundry room and sauna. At the cabin there is a covered patio and boat and canoe can be provided, but must be booked separately. To fish in the water you have to buy a fishing license. The cabin is located by Viksdalsvatnet/Hestadfjorden and in a great hiking area. Further up the valley you come to Gaularfjellet and over to Sogn. In the opposite direction is Førde with 13,000 inhabitants

Pleasant cabin at Holsen

Welcome to our little gem located by Holsavatnet, 20 minutes east of Førde in the direction of Gaularfjellet. Here you have a great starting point for hiking, fishing and, not least, swimming, since the cabin is located right by the water. With us, you also have the opportunity to borrow a canoe and kayak (however, we require that you have taken a kayaking course - for your own safety) We have life jackets and fishing equipment available. A short distance to experiences in Gaularfjellet, Jølster, Førde and Sunnfjord. The absolute maximum number of guests is 6.

Cabin in the heart of Jølster. Jølstravegen 1148

The cabin is beautifully located by Jølstervannet, right next to national highway E39 (this can cause traffic noise), an area with scattered cabins. Jølster offers beautiful nature and good fishing opportunities in Jølstervannet, which is known as a very good fishing lake. There is great hiking terrain here with marked hiking trails. From the cabin, it is a short distance to a shop, a golf course and Jølster ski centre. Jølster offers cultural experiences, local handicrafts and an art museum. From the cabin, Tindefjelle and Steinegga are within walking distance.

Halvardhytta - Fjærland Cabins

Cabin with stunning views in tranquil surroundings. Short distance to the fjord and a rowing boat is available in the summer months. The cabin has a mini kitchen, fridge, small oven and microwave. No dishwasher. Bathroom with shower and toilet, heating cables in the floor. Living room with lounge group, dining table and a cozy fireplace. The bedrooms are very small. Covered porch with outdoor furniture. Bed linen and towels are not included. When it snows, you have to park by the road and walk the last 50 m up to the cabin. Parking by the cabin during summer.

Spelbu

Spelbu is originally an older log cabin that in earlier times was used as a residential house on the farm Storetræ. In more modern times it was moved about 200 meters, and over time several bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom were built. The cabin was newly renovated in 2022 and has a modern standard, but the historic character has been preserved. There is both electricity and gas (stove and water heater run on gas) + wood stove in the living room. Spelbu is located in a free and nice location with stunning views of the valley and the village.

Idyllic summer cottage by the waterfront in Jølster

Welcome to Jølster! This summer cottage is idyllically located on the waterfront at Jølstravatnet, with a stunning view. Enjoy late or active days in the immediate vicinity of both the sea and mountains. The outdoor area is large, and here you can enjoy long summer days, go out with the rowboat (included), swim in crystal clear water, try out SUP boards or kayak (which is also included). This is one of two cabins on the plot. Please let me know if you'd like to book both :) Note that there is some car noise from the road Welcome!

Cozy cabin in beautiful nature

Take a break and relax in this peaceful oasis. In this cozy cottage you live in beautiful natural surroundings. River and mountain views from the window and on the terrace. Nice trips nearby, including Vallestadfossen which is 500 meters away. Mountain trips are also nearby. Below the cabin it is possible to fish trout (small) in the river. This is free. The nearest town is Førde which is 30 minutes away. Haukedalsvatnet is about 500 m from the cabin, where you can buy a fishing license. Here is a nice place to find peace.

Small cabin on Gaularfjell, simple standard

Simple but cozy cabin at Langestølen on Gaularfjellet. The cabin is located in the middle of Fossestien. Lots of possibilities for mountain tours, trout fishing, swimming and enjoying nature. Here you can cuddle with cows, sheep and goats. It is also possible to rent a boat in several waters. The cabin has a toilet in the barn, no electricity, no running water. But there is water from the stream right by, and gas stove for cooking. Parking right by the cabin. Perfect for couples or 2 adults and 1 child.

Høyseth Camping, Cabin #1

Høyseth is a hidden gem located in the far end of Stardalen valley at the gateway to Jostadal glacier national park. Rent one of our simple and charming cabins that sleep 2-6 persons, put up your tent or park your caravan in the heart of West-Norwegian nature. The camping is an excellent starting point for hiking trips to Haugabreen glacier, Oldeskaret and Briksdalen during summer and Snønipa(1827m) for back country skiing in winter and spring. Come and experience amazing nature!

The cabin is situated on a farm at Helle in Sunnfjord, in a beautiful scenery at Førdefjorden. It has an amazing view to the fjord and the majestic snow top mountain with a glacier. It is located right by the fjord and has a beach right outside the cabin. Great place for hiking, fishing and relaxation in a rural retreat. Nearest supermarked is in Naustdal, 12 km from the cabin, and a local cafe is 5 min away. Self service farm shop. Free WiFi. Motorboat for rent (summer season).
