Designer Country Cottage on Equestrian Estate
This upmarket bungalow cabin is nestled in the countryside with views of the surrounding stables and grounds. Get back in touch with nature at this property featuring a remodeled boutique interior, outdoor lounge areas, and a front BBQ porch. A perfect romantic time for you to enjoy. Or spoil yourself and your horses and spend a long weekend with your equine friends enjoying all that the property offers. A 60 x 20 and 40 x 20 sand arenas, stables, hot and cold wash, parking for float, large post and rail fences, electrified, coaching clinics can be arranged. Horse activities incur a fee. You have a very comfortable queen sized bed in the bedroom, and a large sofa lounge/bed in the living area. Designer furnishings throughout. Brand new fridge and microwave, brand new split system air conditioner, fly screens all round, so you can open your windows and take in the fresh country air, great cooking facilities, BBQ, sunsets on your own private deck, private and separate shower, separate toilet and vanity. And the most tranquil setting of 10 acres surrounded by beautiful rainforest, yet only 4 minutes from the heart of the bustling township of Eumundi. Treat yourself to this tranquil and magical experience. Stepping out of your private cottage, you will be greeted by the view of a lush, 20 metre high rain forest in the near distance and be able to pick your own fresh lychees from the massive lychee tree! You will be able to explore the unique manicured surroundings of this peaceful and private property, and may even stumble across our resident platypus, goanna, bush turkeys, kookaburras, owls and of course our 3 beautiful Show & Dressage horses. You will have access to Netflix and Wi-fi in the Cottage, along with free to air TV. Should you require any laundry facilities, I have a separate washing machine in the tack room of the Stable Block. A large fold out washing line is stored in the bathroom. And at the end of the day, there's nothing better than kicking back on your own private deck with your BBQ cooking, whilst sipping on some of the best local wines around and looking at the majestic skyline whilst breathing in the fresh country air! A perfect way to de-stress and unwind! Very importantly, we do ask that each time you enter or exit the property, that you ensure the front gates are closed and secured. We can, of course, accommodate horses. Horses will be at extra cost depending on your individual requirements, ie stabling, provision of feed, private/shared paddocks etc. Please contact Karen through an Airbnb message, to confirm insurance requirements, costs and any other details relating to bringing your horse(s) for a magical holiday with you! :) We can accommodate small dogs, however they must be kept on a leash at all times whilst on the property grounds. This is due to some dogs chasing and spooking the horses when they are off a leash, and potentially causing the horses injury. And there is also livestock kept on other nearby properties. Thank you for your understanding. Peter and Karen can be as social or as scarce as you wish. Whatever makes your stay enjoyable, we are more than happy to accomodate you. The main house (the lodge) is situated approximately 50 metres from the Cottage, ensuring you have the ultimate in privacy, yet the comfort of knowing we are near enough should you have any queries. We are here to help! And if there are ever any queries, please just send Karen a text message. Eumundi is a town that comes alive on Wednesdays and Saturdays with its world-famous markets. Spend hours walking around looking for that special something, trying the delectable food on offer, or sitting down to listen to some local live music. A hire car would be the preferred way of getting about. The Imperial Hotel offers a shuttle bus back to the Cottage if you've had a fun night of entertainment, meals and drinks. If you are arriving after dark, it can be a little tricky to find, so please call Karen on 0402051934 once you reach the Grasstree Road/Memorial Drive intersection and either Peter or myself will meet you to direct you to the property if you require our assistance. As you come through the main entry (large dark brown solid gates), The Cottage is the first dwelling on the right hand side, as you pass the stables (also on your right hand side). Please feel free to park your car on either side of the Cottage, thank you. North East of Sunshine Coast Airport. Travel along Bruce Highway to the first Eumundi Noosa Exit, Exit 224. At the first roundabout, take the second exit (which is West Eumundi Rd). Turn right onto Overpass over Bruce Highway. At the roundabout take the first exit onto Memorial Drive. Travel 1.2kms to Grasstree Rd, and the driveway to the property, is approx. 700 metres from the intersection and off to the right. IT IS A PRIVATE ROAD, AND THE ONLY ROAD ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE. SMALL SIGNAGE DIRECTS YOU TO PROPERTIES 72, 74 AND 76 GRASSTREE ROAD. PLEASE LOOK FOR THE PRIVATE ROAD SIGN THAT STATES THIS. AND IF YOU HAVE ANY QUERIES, PLEASE CONTACT KAREN ON 0402051934, AND WE WILL HAPPILY COME OUT TO MEET YOU TO SHOW YOU THE WAY IN, AS IT CAN BE A BIT TRICKY LATER IN THE NIGHT WHEN IT'S DARK. At present, the property behind us is on the market, so you will also see a large FOR SALE sign at the point where you veer right to make your entry to our front gates. Please note, our Show and Dressage horses are fed and stabled to a regime, and it would be appreciated if guests please don't hand feed them. If you would like any interaction with the horses, Karen will be able to facilitate this. Please don't approach the horses without Karen being present:)

Country-Style Studio Apartment in a Rustic Cottage
This rustic mudbrick and timber cottage is set within 2 acres of beautiful hinterland gardens (shared with Magnolia Cottage (pet friendly) also listed on AirBNB, and separated by a courtyard). Indoors, the studio apartment has wooden floors and gables, exposed beams plus an eclectic mix of new furniture and old artwork and views overlooking the dam. The studio apartment upstairs has wooden floors and gables, exposed beams and lovely hinterland views, as well as a 38" LED smart tv and sound bar. Furnished with an eclectic mix of new furniture and old artwork, it has a very country feel. The games room is home to a growing collection of country paintings, old farm implements, a David Brodie pool table and bar, leather chairs and cowskin hides. And a 42" LED smart tv and sound bar for entertainment whilst you play pool. If you prefer something quieter, light the fire pit by the dam and watch the evening fade away. May not be suitable for young, mobile children due to the unfenced dam, but a travel cot is available for very young children by prior arrangement. The Stables is separated from Magnolia Cottage by a rustic courtyard and fountain. Both properties share the footpath running along the front of the Stables. The "home" garden in front of the cottage is for use by the cottage only (fenced for dogs). The rest of the two acre grounds are shared, including the dam. The Stables is our holiday home, we live about 20 minutes away and are usually available in person or by phone. If it is very hot and dry we may need to water the garden, with prior notice to our guests. The Stables is well located for exploring Noosa's hinterland. The charming town of Cooroy is just 4 minutes away. Eumundi and its famous markets and quirky pub 7 minutes in the other direction, and the Noosa River, with its shady picnic spots and watersports, is a 15 minute drive away. The Stables is on tank water, with a filtration system providing drinking water and a septic system. We have a large dam which is not fenced, and lots of birds and wildlife around us.
