Built in 1753, this 1000 square feet, newly restored limestone cottage was the original settlement home on the 135-acre homestead. Boasting a French country esthetic, this little darling has the most captivating views of rolling hills, a brook, and lush green farmland.

We are directly off the Cortland I-81 exit and are 30 minutes to Cornell, Ithaca and Syracuse. We are conveniently located near Greek Peak and other local ski areas. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Cozy 2 bedroom cabin that sits a few feet from the creek. The property includes 2 acres of woods on the other side of the creek. Walk across the footbridge and down a short path to a small pond. The cabin was originally a hunting cabin. Over the years it was expanded and converted into a year round residence. The cabin had a 1970’s vibe, so when we renovated it we tried to keep that feel.

Cross the bridge to escape to our cozy creek front cabin situated on Penn’s Creek. With its own private access on Penn’s Creek, you can enjoy fishing, swimming, making campfires, or just relaxing in the sun. Within driving distance is shopping, eating, miniature golf, antiquing and more. If you’re coming to just relax we have WIFI, a Smart TV and lots of board games to make your stay a little more comfortable. We want our guests to feel at home!!

Tucked on a quiet road just minutes from hiking trails and Willowemoc fly fishing, we’re also only a winding 15-minute drive to charming Livingston Manor, a quintessential Catskills town, and less than 2 hours from NYC.

The Cabin at Pleasant Valley Farm

The cabin is located on a dirt road on our farm with a beautiful pond and an amazing view! This off-grid, cabin has two queen beds (100% cotton sheets), a mini-kitchen with a battery-ignition gas range, solar powered refrigerator, solar lighting, a wood stove, an outdoor shower, a fire pit, and an old-fashioned outhouse. An expansive porch and dock provide comfortable outdoor living. A seasonal favorite, the cabin is available May-Oct.
