We felt very comfortable, the cabin is completely sufficient and equipped with everything that is needed. All the sights of the golden circle are easily accessible. Definitely recommended

Staying in Dora and Nicolas' cozy flat was everything we could have wished. They were friendly, welcoming, helpful and generous. The flat was clean, well-supplied and super comfortable. It was a perfect location for walking to the University for our conference (7 minutes) and into the City Centre (+/- 20 mins) for events, museums and dining. (Just up the street are KaffiVest, a wonderful little cafe/restaurant, a small supermarket, and the local outdoor, heated swimming pool - an Iceland tradition!) We wholeheartedly recommend, and would gladly stay there again!

We stayed at Haukur's cabin for a week and enjoyed it very much. He was always easily accessible and helped us with everything. The property is beautiful and great for unwinding. It's very quiet and peaceful. It looked fantastic in any weather. The cabin is well equipped. You are about 20 minutes away by car from Selfoss and there is everything you need. It was very nice to meet you, hopefully until next time!

Harald’s place was peaceful and in a lovely location. It is private, with no light pollution, and pretty much has everything you need. There is a nice yard, cute fairy house and bridge on the side of the cottage, and a community playground within walking distance. A few miles up the road is a lovely church and historical site with a turf house, school cairn (built maybe during the Middle Ages), a memorial to Jon Arason—a 16th century bishop, and a field to forage a delicious local treat—crowberries! Perfect location to check out golden circle area-close to kerid crater, geyser, bruarfoss, gullfoss, and the geothermal bakery and springs—Laugarvatn Fontana. If I could live at Harald’s place, I would! He is a straight forward, responsive host. I got all the information I needed when I needed it.

This place was peaceful and accommodating out in the country. The Icelandic horses roamed around and I even got a peak of the Aurora overhead (though lighter skies in summer). The place had a steam sauna and very comfy beds. The kitchen was useful and the host greeted us and welcomed us to the place. Everything went amazing :)

Had a lovely time! The apartment is attached to the family’s home, but is a private space with its own entrance.

The communication in advance and during the stay was very good. Thanks to the detailed description, we found the place directly and the check-in went smoothly. The location is great. You can quickly reach Reykjavik and the Golden Circle, so you can easily visit all the sights here. Especially the Icelandic horses are a highlight. The description generally corresponds well to the accommodation, even if the furnishings are sometimes a little older, which does not detract from the whole thing.

Everything was perfect. The beds were comfortable and warm. Nice place to stay for northern light. You can get by foot to the lighthouse to get the best pictures of them.

Such a cosy, clean, welcoming, warm and lovely place to rest after a chilly day of sightseeing; the personal touches (a few plants, Icelandic tablecloth and painted stones) were so nice. The kitchen was well stocked for preparing dinner and breakfast using our store bought groceries. The beds were very comfortable. Nice lighting. And what lovely craftsmanship - this “tiny home” was simply perfect.

What an amazing place! Beautiful, secluded, and near so many sights. I’d recommend this place to anyone!

The guesthouse is on an eco-village away from the main road, surrounded by trees, where we felt at home. The family room was spacious and comfortable, and even had a small kitchen inside, in case you preferred to cook there instead of in the main kitchen. Anyway the main kitchen is big, we were alone there on our only night and were able to cook with no problem. Definitely when I come back to Iceland it will be a place to keep in mind to stay again.

Very good place for teens and friends

This accommodation is great, clean and in very good location. My view was amazing, i saw even the church from my window🤗 I am recommending this guesthouse.

Overall good experience. The house sits within a 10 minute walk of the main downtown area of Reykjavik. I had a rental car and street parking is free in the neighborhood which is a big plus for a larger city. No issues finding a parking spot nearby. Room was clean and private. Please note that the guest house has 3 bedrooms total so you will share a bathroom and kitchen with other guests. All doors have locks on them and a key so your personal belongings are safe. Newer washer and dryer is also available. There is also a small grocery store nearby if you'd rather cook than eat out. I was happy to have rent this.

Charming apartment with everything you need for a peaceful holiday, or to wander around because it's close to everything there is to see! 10 minutes from Reykjavík center and 30 minutes from the main airport, as well as the Golden Circle or the Blue Lagoon, I highly recommend this listing!

A good place to stay in the middle of Reykjavík

We ended up at Inga's after having to reconfigure our travel plans due to bad road conditions in North Iceland and were very happy with our decision to stay there. Everything matches the descriptions and pictures and Inga gave us very easy to follow directions in regard to finding the house and checking in.

This place was the perfect spot for our last leg of our trip exploring Iceland. 6 minutes away from Costco, 20 minutes from Reykjavik, and 35 minutes from the airport. We enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this place!!
