Relax in this quiet and elegant new property. The house is under construction and will be ready in early June 2024, so there are only traces of it outside as the interior is not ready until then. The house has two bedrooms, a bathroom, a living room, a dining room and a kitchen. The house is located about 5 km from Kirkjubæjarklaustur and is therefore halfway between The black sand beach in Vík and The national park Skaftafell and Jökulsárlón in the east. From the house there is a view of both Vatnajökull and Mýrdalsjökull.

Exellent location between Airport (30 min.) and Reykjavík (15.min Central). The Cottage is downtown Hafnarfjörður, close to the harbour, a walking distance from Restaurants, Coffee shops, Tourist info, cute little shops, supermarket and a central bus stop. Taking a SAUNA after a long day is a real treat and the "outside" shower (with hot and cold water) is a great experience. Looking for off the grid aurora sighseeing cozy cabin with sauna? Then Hvílusteinn is perfect as a getaway from the city into the wilderness & as a base camp for South Iceland, within 100 km you have most of Iceland's popular gems! Airport about 170km away. It's nice to just enjoy the local nature and the northern lights in this remote and secluded area of the countryside with a private outdoor shower and shared indoor shower and a sauna. Fully equipped kitchen with spacious dining and living room offering time to relax after sightseeing. The location gives opportunities to visit South Iceland such as Thorsmork and ferry to Vestmann islands.

From the cottage you have a magnificent view of the mountains, the horses of the farm and the vastness of the landscape. You can take short or long walks and go in every direction without any human disturbance or traffic. A perfect place for people who want to experience nature, silence and space.

Guesthouse Brekka - private little cottage offgrid

A small cozy cottage on the edge of a forest in the Westfjords, more specifically by Þingeyri Dýrafjörður. Here you can relax in unspoiled surroundings and enjoy nature in Brekkudalur. This small 25 sqm cottage is heated with a wood stove, water closet, cold running water, gas refrigerator and gas stove.

Gestahúsið okkar er lítið 15 fm hús. Húsið stendur á lóðinni rétt sunnan við húsið okkar. útsýnið yfir fjörðinn er einstakt og fjallasýnin eftir því. 4,5 km er í miðbæ Akureyrar sem hefur uppá að bjóða alla þá þjónustu sem hugsast getur. We are motorcycle friendly. Það er heit úti sturta.
