Apartments Stachy - Apartment Churáňov

The apartments are located in Šumava in a quiet location on the outskirts of the mountain village of Stachy near the forest at an altitude of 780 m above sea level. It is located on a sunny slope, only 5 km from the ski center Zadov - Churáňov. It offers beautiful views of the surroundings and a huge garden that provides privacy. Apartment Churáňov is modernly furnished and fully equipped with a fireplace, large 120m2 for 6+2 people, ideal for 2 families with children. Around the house is a large fenced garden with a sauna. The center with shops is a 10-minute walk, there is also a pharmacy in the village.

Shepherds hut on pasture

Staying in our shepherd's hut is the Association, a healing refreshment, and a holiday with an amazing sunset. The shepherd's hut is on a fenced-in property in the Brdy Protected Landscape Area. It is located in an undeveloped part of the village, near our house, there are pastures all around, so no sprayed fields. On the pastures of a herd of cows and sheep, and a beautiful view of Šumava in front of you. Drinking water available. Firewood is included. Tadle shepherd's hut is our wooden heart, which we've renovated ourselves. It's just a different, amazing view of the world.

Three houses - Pear

Hruška is the largest of the cottages, the bedroom upstairs is complemented by another sleeping loft, which children will love. Generous open space, larch, birch, a proper kitchen with a fireplace and a terrace, what more do you need… The cottage is ideal for a 4-member family, but it can comfortably accommodate up to 5 people. We built the cottages with love, with an emphasis on minimalist modern design, in harmony with nature. Located above the beautiful Šumava valley. Come and enjoy the comfort and tranquility with a magnificent view of the surrounding hills.

Cottage with a folding roof

Stargazing right from bed. This is what you'll find thanks to a tilting roof. You will also not miss privacy here, because you will not find neighbours here. The cottage has 1 double bed and 1 extra bed. 200L of water is at your disposal. cold/hot. Small gas cooker. All kitchen equipment. Bedding/towels. And you can easily recharge your phone thanks to the 24V, but also thanks to the 220V inverter, it's not a problem to charge your laptop. Appliances must be consumed max 1000w. Stove. Toilet dry.

Chalet Heart³

The newly built wooden chalet was completed with a lot of love for detail in March 2024. It was built in a modern style and meets the highest energy requirements. The path from your own parking space, through the house, to the covered veranda with new, electrically heated hot tub was designed at ground level. Inside you can make yourself comfortable with the wood-burning stove and your own sauna (free of charge). The National Park cycling path and beautiful hiking trails are within walking distance.

Treehouse

Visit a small hut in the middle of the forest in complete privacy, which deserves a second chance. Like most things inside the cottage, which are reused items rescued from being thrown away. The interior is inspired by the legendary freedom and wildness of the surrounding nature, right where the first settlements were established, just a few minutes from Prague. The place is ideal for those who want to be in contact with nature at every step - at breakfast or cooking, at bath or even at bedtime.

On the banks of the pond, they call it Vandrovsky, under the shrouded ancient Dub, hides a place that our Aranka has found for herself. Beautiful architecture full of exceptional design and comfort, where there is a spacious shower, toilet, kitchenette and Finnish sauna. A heated wooden barrel - hot tub awaits guests outside. Everything is completely secluded, in the peace and quiet of the Šumava foothills.

Our chats

Our cottage is located in a semi-secluded forest by the Stropnice River. Although it may not look like it at first glance, there are neighbors nearby, but they are not visible from the cottage. Enjoy sitting by the crackling fireplace with a book and a cup of tea or breakfast on the terrace. There is no wifi in the cottage, so enjoy the time spent together.
