Holiday rentals with lake access in Swain County

So well, I did not stay at Daniel and Anna’s listing my parents did they were informed beforehand that it was a listing for a secondary party. My parents absolutely enjoyed it loved it said it was the most peaceful time they had and that they will definitely be going back. Daniel and Anna were very responsive proactive and excellent host

This was such a sweet stay and we wish we could have stayed longer! Beautiful location - my husband enjoyed fly fishing during the day on the water and I was only 20 minutes from kayaking at the NOC. The house was very clean - tidy bathroom and kitchen with all your basics stocked to get you started. Hot tub was lovely and very clean! There is a steeper drop off next to the outside firepit so I would be mindful with little children. Easy check in and they were very flexible and responsive when we had some crazy weather pop up nearby. We will be back again and hopefully stay a little longer!

great stay right on the lake!! had everything we needed. kitchen equipped with enough to make our thanksgiving dinner. beds were comfy. she even asked if we wanted it decorated for Christmas.🎄 close to some beautiful hiking trails/falls. kids wanna go back for summer! raechel was always quick to reply and helpful with anything

Brandon's place is beautiful and clean. He is very responsive and personable. My mother and I had a great time! It's so night to sit by the lake and have your coffee. Would love to stay again. 🩷

The house is on a quiet cove of the lake, and the views from the house are spectacular in the Spring. We enjoyed kayaking and looking at the stars from the dock. I'd love to go back in the summer when we can enjoy jumping in the water and floating all day on the lake. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook with a brand new grill.

Beautiful & peaceful location. The house was lovely, kitchen well stocked with kitchen items, gadgets. Big beautiful windows to see out to the lake; and both bedrooms w/ lake views. Beautiful house! Lovely porch & dock, where we spent all our time.

The host did a ton of up front work answering a lot of questions you may have. The place was well stocked. Beautiful location on the water. No cell service right near the place but instructions on how to navigate that are provided and easily followed. Rainy weekend in the sticks so it's expected, power went out but host reached out to me with updates which I appreciated very much. I would recommend this cabin!

This location was absolutely perfect for our spring break destination. We were looking for peace and beautiful views and that’s exactly what this Airbnb offers. Certainly worth every penny! The photos are spot on and every room was extremely clean! An additional plus was the two way paved road up to the house. We have stayed in Bryson city before and the last location had an unpaved one way road, which made us feel very uneasy going to and from the home. Dan and Veronica were stellar hosts! Very responsive and friendly. We look forward to booking with them again in the future. Thank you so much for everything.

Great location in Townsend to visit the Smoky Mountains! We had an amazing time here and the place was very cozy to come back to every night.

Even in the rain, this place is beautiful. We went to Tuckaleechee Caverns on our way to the condo- highly recommend too. There was trail heads 20 minutes away at Middle Prong- beautiful drive- lots of scenic stops, and we even had a chance to walk a bit. Excellent place to stay! Near food and groceries. The balcony sites and sounds are amazing.

My 16 yo son and I enjoyed our stay at Strawberry Patch Inn and Townsend and the Great Smokies. The apartment was clean, beautiful, we learned a new game she had, shower was spacious, plenty of towels, beds were comfy, had what we needed to eat & wash dishes, etc. The location was perfect for us. My son could fish right outside - he put on his waiters and caught our dinner of 3 stocked trout right from the river out our door. He also caught smallmouth and we saw otter, snakes, and an osprey while here! It was peaceful and everything I hoped. We liked having the option of food and drink next door; everyone was friendly we met. It was drive to get into the park enough to do the hiking, fishing, and other things we wanted to do but we didn’t mind the drives at all because it’s all beautiful. My son wanted to fly fish for wild trout in the park and after a lot of efforts, he met a guy by middle prong trail who gave him tips and he finally caught two wild Brooks. We hope to return!

This was my third stay at the property. I keep coming back because they keep exceeding my expectations.

We absolutely loved our stay! It was a great place to end our night after being in the city all day around so many people. The creek, bonfire were super peaceful during this season. LOVED the room, it was very comfy and just enough space for the 3 of us. thank you!!

I loved staying here! Townsend is my home away from home and I am so excited to come back and stay longer. There were so many places to sit and read and it was SO close to Cades Cove, I loved everything!

We had a fabulous stay at Strawberry! This was our 4th time staying there—we love the accommodations & the location. It’s only minutes away from GSMNP & Cades Cove. Wendy is very easy to communicate with & is always very friendly & welcoming. We plan to visit again next year. You can’t go wrong with Strawberry.

We loved our stay! The place was clean, the bedroom in the picture does not do it justice it is very nice in person! The hot tub does take a while (little over an hour) to heat up but feels great on a chilly morning or evening. They have coffee but no sugar or creamer that i could find but we drank ours black so that was not a problem for us. (just be sure to bring that) The only issue we had as apple users was navigating to the house. You have to manually enter the address, if you just click on it from airbnb and “open in apple maps” it will take you to a totally different house (oops🤣) also this is a shared house so you may hear footsteps or noise from upstairs, but that is just the nature of renting a place like this!

we really enjoyed our stay at the cabin, every thing was perfect. it was quiet peaceful and the screened in porch was amazong. we would definitely stay here again.

Nice, clean, peaceful, private, relaxing, and as described, except for internet. I did log onto the house wifi. The wifi was not connected to the internet. I had less than one bar of cell service. There was a wired land line phone on the wall, which had no dial tone. There were many notes with help phone numbers, but no way to call. Because I was seeking a quiet retreat, I did not mind this.

We loved our stay here! We had plenty of space and the view was amazing! Our host was friendly and answered any questions we had. We enjoyed our time outside on the dock, the back porch and the outside sitting area. We were able to use the kayaks and go out on the water one morning and enjoy the beautiful views. The beds and pillows were SUPER comfortable, felt like I was at home!

This cozy, beautiful spot is a treasure! Kim was very attentive to details in creating a space that is welcoming and feels like home. The kitchen was well equipped, decor blends modern and mountain cottage. Plenty to entertain at the house or nearby. The description helped us know how to best plan our visit to the area and there were great tips and maps at the house too. Beautiful scenery and a great place to enjoy birds, fall foliage, hiking and much more. So thankful for a great getaway!

Motorcycle trailer friendly parking which is great considering the roads in the area. I had no problem getting my truck and 10ft enclosed trailer there and parked. Great house and neighborhood. We were allowed to check in early which was awesome. The house was stocked with lots of snacks and items that you may forget or need. The layout of the house is nice for 2 separate groups as you would each have your own end of the house and bathroom. My mom stayed at the house and enjoyed the lake view while the rest of us rode motorcycles.

Susan’s home is absolutely stunning. An exceptional mountain top home. You truly feel you are above the clouds. Incredible views all throughout the cabin with an extremely cozy interior with the true cabin feel. Would highly recommend someone has a vehicle with 4WD or AWD to ensure easy access up the last few gravel hills & steel driveway to the property. Susan and Jessey were very much in communication and helpful with any questions one could have.
