Swordale is a small, quiet hamlet two miles up the hill from Evanton village. The house is actually part of a converted farm steading consisting of ten cottages, all made of natural stone. Ours is the only one fortunate enough to have a vaulted ceiling and Juliet balcony on the first floor, where the lounge is situated. It has recently been completely, beautifully and thoughtfully renovated. We look forward to welcoming you, and hope you will enjoy your stay here in the Highlands of Scotland.

Relax and enjoy the view from the hot tub or fire pit area or just cosy up in front of the wood burning stove in the sitting room.

Nestling on the shores of the Beauly Firth only 10 miles from the city of Inverness, close to the NC500, Killearnan Brae is a luxury self-contained apartment. Walking from the house you will find Killearnan Church and the Medieval Redcastle both rich in Scottish History. The picturesque village of Beauly is a 5 min drive. Here you will find bespoke shopping, restaurants along with the historic Priory.

Highland River Cottage with Hot Tub

A cute and cosy modernised cottage with hot tub surrounded by fields and with a beautiful river at the bottom of the garden. The house is well situated and has a spacious patio and lawn, enclosed garden with access to walks up the river and other beautiful local areas. A good base to strike out for West Coast and Highlands. We recently added a twin room in addition to our double en-suite and king bedrooms. Foulis Castle, Evanton is near the ancient burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat, 9-5pm). You’ll love my place because of privacy of having your own country retreat within beautifully landscaped gardens. My place is small with one bedroom that contains either x2 singles or zip&link super-king size bed. The 3rd guest is on a roll-away mattress ideal for a child.

Also we are only a 20 minute drive from the Traitors Castle made famous on the BBC. The cabins are designed for two adults and two children, space on sofa bed is restrictive for two adults.
