Casa do Rio Alva is a very special place with private access to the river! Our country house is located in the village of Secarias in the heart of the nature of central Portugal, 4 km from the village of Arganil and 55 km from the city of Coimbra. Exploring the Alva River from our home is a unique experience, where the following stand out: avocets, bees, kingfishers, crows, swallows, foxes, field mice, frogs, toads and snakes, numerous fish such as bass, bogas and carp, but also trout and eels.

Op 4 KM-afstand is het grotere plaatsje Coja, waar diverse winkels en restaurants te vinden zijn en het beschikt over een plein waaraan meerdere cafés gelegen zijn. Bij mooi weer is het hier gezellig druk.
