House holiday rentals in Takapuna

This is a fantastic place for the family to spend the holiday. It is immaculate and big, which suits a family's special occasion. We love the place, especially our kids, who enjoyed the swimming and spa pools. Not only that, but it is so close to the beach for swimming and surfing. There is a local park and soccer field that we usually walk to play or exercise. Lisa is a friendly host who responds promptly if we need help. This is one of the best holiday homes available in the area, and we would love to return there. It is very secure and private for us visitors. We extended our visit for another day as we all enjoyed and loved the place and the area. There were 10 of us altogether, and it was worth the money we paid, and I highly recommend this place. Our Family (2 Adults, 2 Children 5y & 3Y) had a fantastic stay. The location was quiet and close enough to everything. Beautiful Walking track 2 mins from the front door which feels very distant from the city location. The Pool, which is the perfect size for the property, is great for the kids and deep enough for adults to soak in, it also feels very safe with the fencing. The kid's rooms are perfect for children up to their teenage years and the master bedroom is comfortable and has a good view of the backyard (Tramp and Pool), allowing you to relax from inside and watch kids outside. Off-street parking is covered and easy to access and the living area and kitchen are all nice and family friendly. Thanks again for hosting us and we look forward to returning one day.

We were in Riverhead for a family wedding. The location and facilities were spot on. Traveling to the event centre was easy and didn't take too long. The House and gardens gave a peaceful and welcoming vibe. Thank you for sharing it with us.

We had a three night stay at Malina's house and it was a fantastic experience. The location was perfect and within 5 min walk to the main Mission Bay bars and restaurants. Malina and Rod were both highly responsive and provided suggestions and also helped rescue us by lending us two international adapters for our devices. The house is beautiful and as shown in the photos. Modern and clean and the standout has to be the pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Our kids spent every afternoon in the pool area and loved it all. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in the Mission Bay area.

I had a wonderful stay at Sam’s place! The home was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect — quiet, safe, and close to everything I needed. Sam was a good host: friendly, responsive, and thoughtful, offering helpful local tips and making sure everything went smoothly. I especially appreciated the little touches that made the stay feel like home. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Auckland.

Lisa’s house was as beautiful as the photos and very comfortable. It was super close to everything we needed for our little family and the heated outdoor pool was the best bit. The pool and the hot tub meant we didn’t need to find entertainment for our little one and on sunny days the outdoor area was bliss. Lisa provided lots of games, toys and books to read and we felt we had really gotten away from it all staying in this lovely home.

We were surprised how peaceful the property was, considering we were in Auckland, coming from a rural home it was nice and relaxing, just sitting around enjoying what the property had to offer. Grant was exceptionally proactive and professional with his communication and we felt comfortable if we had any questions, queries or concerns we could rea h out without any bother. Overall great place to meet up with family and lived ones for a get away.

Beautiful, a home away from home. Sanctuary to relax and unwind. surrounded by nature (forestry), immersed in bird sounds and the rustling of leaves. Few times a plane had flown by and was exciting for us. Dom was very responsive if we needed to make contact. The place was neat and tidy. We would love to stay here again and highly recommend to others looking for somewhere peaceful to stay.

We had a fabulous stay - awesome house, amazing view and wonderful location. The walk into Oneroa was easy and the track to the beach just down the road also made beach access super easy. Highly recommend this home for your Waiheke getaway.

Great place to stay this week while we had a wedding at mudbrick. The place was close to many things and the car was great for the rainy days. The place was great , tidy and enough space for the 6 of us.

We had a lovely and peaceful trip. The weather sucked, but the house was comfy and wonderfully quiet. We were surrounded my nature with beautiful native birds, highland cattle and even a rooster strolling around the property. Given the weather we also enjoyed the fire.

We found this property to be just as advertised. Lisa is a great host who is responsive and helpful. We loved the property. We would definitely stay there again.

Awesome location, restaurants, cafes, parks, bus/train and supermarkets nearby. Lovely and private house, clean and felt very relaxed. Communication with host was excellent and they were proactive in checking on us, gave us a later check out as our flight was late and it was much appreciated :) Thank you. Would stay again !

Fantastic place for a few family days away. Short walk to Oneroa, so didn't need to move if we didn't want to. Plenty of separate space for 2 teenagers and fully fenced so we could take our dogs too. Excellent communication. Would definitely recommend and will definitely stay again.

We enjoyed Richards house for a week while spending time in Whangarparoa . It was perfect for us and affordable. We made fresh herb salads from the garden and loved the fresh honeycomb on vogel's toast in the morning. Fresh eggs and strawberries were a great bonus- Loved having all the doors open on a sunny day - a great beachy zen spot. Highly recommended . It's not 5 star swank... however it is down to earth comfortable and a much loved property with everything we needed. Beds very comfortable too.

Wir haben uns bei Cole sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Lage der Unterkunft war super, sehr ruhig und man war aber auch sehr schnell in Downtown Auckland. Das Haus war wie auf den Bildern beschrieben vor allem der Außenbereich war traumhaft schön mit einem Kamin auf der Terrasse und einem Jacuzzi. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit und die Gastfreundschaft.

The house was beautiful, great decks, great views five star plus. Love the hot tub. Use the garage for plan some darts and a bit of poor. Pretty close walk to the beach. Didn’t want to leave. Thank you so much. 😊 😊

Well appointed home, located a short walk to the beach in one direction and the quaint Howick Village in the other. Well hosted and clean. large space for for pets too.

Lovely, comfortable stay with plenty of room. We were a bit unsure at first because the owners live in the rear part of the house but we had all the privacy we needed, no issues and very thoughtful hosts. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay.

Liz's place is a jewel. Super nice and quiet area, with a small park to go running at walking distance and very close to a bus station. We had an amazing time cooking and spending time in the kitchen and back yard. Liz is super friendly and would recommend her to anyone. The house is easy to find and the instructions are very clear. For me the ideal place to stay during my trip: new, bright, clean, well-maintained, good and secure parking and good connections in all directions.

We had a great stay at Lilian’s place! The home is spacious, clean, and offered a very reasonable price for the area. The linens were comfortable, and we appreciated the relaxing environment. The only minor downside was the low water pressure, but overall it didn’t affect our experience much. Would definitely recommend to others!
