Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Taunton Deane

We stayed in apartment 38 for a week in July 2021. It exceeded my expectations and the pictures do not do it justice (the pictures make it look a bit dated but it really isn’t). It is a lovely 3 bed apartment - very clean throughout. The bedrooms and bathroom are on the first floor and the stairs lead up to the living area and kitchen! The kitchen comes with a fridge, dishwasher, cooker and oven. You also get all your basic cooking utensils and dishes alongside cleaning products including dishwasher tablets. One thing I would suggest is taking some tupperware to store your food in or if you want to make a picnic. The description also stated they provided cooking oil - but there wasn’t any - so it’s worth taking some if you want to make a full english in the morning. We ordered a Tesco online shop which was delivered straight to the apartment without any problems. Note, the pools (indoor and outdoor) are not heated so can be quite cold. The indoor pool area is a bit tired looking with the paint peeling off the floor - but the kids still had a fab time. The gym is also well equipped with weight and cardio machines…but again some of the padding on the machines are a bit worn. Overall we had a fab time, the views are amazing. Meadfoot beach is literally on the doorstep and the town is only a 15min walk away. Paignton beach (10min drive) is great for the kids if you want a bit more hustle and bustle i.e. Pier with arcades and fairground. Also recommend The Inn on the Green for lovely pub grub - they are directly opposite the Paignton pier and the staff were fab too.

Very good communication from host, friendly and informative. Very thing was as described and better. Car park easy to find and Julien had already informed us regarding the road closures in Lyme and which way to arrive. Place was easy to find and very clean and homely. Very large apartment and with plenty of room for the 4 of us. TV was good, and there were DVD's and a DVD player. Wi Fi was excellent. Tea, Coffee, Sugar was available along with essentials in the toilet which was very welcomed. Tesco and Co op within 2 min walk, which for us was very good. I would say the only negative, was the front door, you had to lock once inside as the door did not self lock. With 4 adults and only one key, with door having to be locked, it created an issue, but one that was easy worked around. Maybe have a Yale locked fitted, so that the door is locked without a key? The apartment is over three floors, so the description highlighting this is correct. Place is quirky, and very homely. 5 stars

David and Pamela were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. We stayed for 1 night and all went as well as the description stated. Thank you for your hospitality and would recommend staying at their apartment. Easy parking and close to town and amenities.

Anna-Marie’s flat is lovely, with amazing views over the sea. It’s at the quieter end of the beach which was perfect for us, but with the pier and restaurants all walkable within a few minutes. We couldn’t have wished for a nicer place to stay in Weston Super Mare and hope to be back again. Thank you Anna-Marie for letting us stay and making everything so easy

2nd time I have stayed at Dan's place with friends and the host is always very helpful, informative and quick to reply to messages. We love the flat, a perfect location for getting around the visitor attractions, restaurants and bars. There are a lot of stairs up to the accommodation (we are aged 55-66 year olds!) but just plan well so you don't need to keep going backwards and forwards. Highly recommend staying here for a great holiday. Thanks Dan for all your help during our recent stay.

We had a lovely family break in Bath. The apartment was perfect for our needs; comfortable, clean and within walking distance to everything Bath had to offer. We’d happily stay again on a return trip. Thank you.

Great location with the bus stop right outside, regular buses into central Bath every 20-30 minutes. The house itself was immaculate, great sized bedrooms and the smart TV in the living room was an added bonus. House equipped with milk, tea, coffee, sugar and toiletries/washing up liquid/dishwasher tablets, very handy. Will definitely look to stay here again if staying in Bath.

This property exceeded our expectations! Beautifully clean and uncluttered and perfectly situated for exploring both Portland and Weymouth. Host responded really quickly to questions (of which we didn’t have many as all the info was available beforehand. We will definitely be using again when we return to Portland. Perfect for a family of 4 with our small, well behaved dog 😊

We stayed at Danni's for a local wedding, it was perfect. Loads of space and well equipped, had everything we needed for a great weekend!

We really enjoyed Philip’s place for my sisters hen do in Bath! For some of us it was our first time visiting and the location was perfect to easily reach the city centre. Philip was really responsive when we had an issue with the oven he sorted it within minutes which was great! Our only issue was there was hair left in the drain in the downstairs bathroom, everything else was spotless this was the only issue! Thanks so much Philip the location, space and amenities were perfect for our stay :)

A unique and historic house which while quirky in some ways, still incorporated the modern facilities to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The location is fantastic, central for many sites and interests, the rooms comfortable and unusual - eg wooden shutters for the windows. The garden was an unexpected bonus.

We had a great short break away. The apartment was clean, comfortable and exactly as described. It is in a great location and would very much recommend others to visit this gem of a place.

Perfect location, most landmarks few minutes walk. Tony has thought of every little detail in the apartment. If I came to Bristol again would definitely stay here again! Easily sleeps 4 and money well spent!!!

Wonderful, just wonderful! My family and I loved our stay in the Sandpearl apartment. Most of all, the view from the living room and the master bed room is just amazing, I could spend hours just watching the sea waves and the beach and listening to the sea... the apartment itself is spotlessly clean and has everything one might need but nothing feels like clutter. The kitchen even included plastic plates and bowls for children, and the living room had a good selection of books and boardgames. The host, Debbie, was very helpful, always responding very quickly. We asked for local recommendations for food on Easter Sunday and got a few options to choose from. The location itself, right at the beach and right in the middle of Weymouth, couldn't be better either. An overall winner that I would highly recommend. Already talking about maybe coming back to this exactly same place again sometime soon!

Had a booking cancelled at short notice and had to find an alternative sharpish.. found this one and the host was back to us straight away and remained in regular contact. Directions and getting in were easy and we even got notification that the accommodation was ready early. Very clean and comfortable inside - nice and cozy Great job by the host.

Cai's place was one of the best we have stayed in: it's really stylish, very well equipped, lovely and bright and everything was clean and pristine. It's a beautiful apartment with the most amazing views over the city of Bath, and having a place to park during our stay was a great bonus. We enjoyed the 10 minute walk to and from the city centre and it was great having a base that wasn't too far away from all the main attractions in Bath. We felt really at home in the apartment and were sorry to leave!

What an amazing place to stay, The apartment was exactly as described and had everything needed for a great stay and felt at home. The apartment is in a great location to go and explore the surrounding area with lots to do and bars pubs and restaurants to sample. The apartment is situated behind the main road through the town but its location is in a very quiet back road and peaceful. Great break was had. Many thanks

Lovely apartment with everything needed for stay. Great views out to sea in a quiet area with garden furniture available. Bedroom is hugh with a sofa to enjoy the garden and view from inside. Very hilly walk to and from town but you can go via Ware road through a gate via the countryside to avoid road, very pleasant. Lots of places to eat and things to do. Took a drive to walk to Golden Cap amazing views and a good farm shop on drive back. Melanie was very helpful and would must definitely recommend staying at Green Tor.

the photos do not give the property justice it really is a stunning property and you can tell the owners take a lot of pride in their properties. a lot of care and attention to detail. always responsive and location perfect for what we needed. parking was not issue and we stress about that but no need here. squeaky clean and spotless with great facilities. everything you would need as a home from home. located in the quieter end of the sea front which offered peace from main town. beds were very comfortable and thr shower was excellent. the theme of the property worked really well and was nicely done. would visit here again without hesitation and have become very intrigued by the other properties to see what he has done. the ciders were greatly received!
