Our home & 4 yr old fully self-contained cottage is on a 0.9 hectare (2.3 acre) "lifestyle" property in the country but is only 5 mins drive from the University and 4 local schools, our local supermarket, post office and food outlets. We are also 15 mins drive from Hamilton central business district (CBD), the Hospital and Wintec in one direction and the Airport in the other direction. We do NOT charge separate cleaning fees (NB when comparing), offer a 25% discount for 1 week, 35% per month.

We aim to provide clean and comfortable indoor outdoor living while enjoying beautiful views, peace and tranquility whilst relaxing in your own mountain hideaway with amazing stargazing opportunities.

The Hilly House, Private Boutique Accommodation

The Hilly House is a hillside property in the heart of the Whitehall district, surrounded by beautiful rural views. Very private. Outdoor baths for relaxing in peace, star gazing with a glass of wine or two. Our friendly and inquisitive llamas will come over to greet you, you can fine their pellets inside the house. There are many lovely walks nearby. Blue Springs in Putaruru, 40 mins. Sanctuary Mt Maungatautari, 35 mins and 10 mins from Lake Karapiro and Cambridge with amazing eateries.

Treetops studio by Lake Karapiro

Relax and unwind in our intimate studio by Lake Karapiro. Treetops studio is situated in a peaceful garden setting with lovely views over the treetops above Lake Karapiro. At the end of the drive(500m) is the Karapiro domain - enjoy a short walk to have a coffee at the Podium cafe or cycle/walk the Te Awa cycleway. We are 20mins from Hamilton airport and a great location to access local tourist attractions: Cambridge 10mins, Hobbiton 30mins, Rotorua 1hour, Waitomo caves 1 hour.

Neighbouring Hobbiton, and with beautiful views of the Kaimai Ranges, we have all you need for comfort away from home. There is a fully equipped kitchen and laundry with washer and dryer for your use.

Wildberry Cottage is just 20 minutes from Rotorua in the Bay of Plenty. Morrinsville is a centrally located Waikato town. It is less than two hours from Auckland and both coasts and half an hour from Hamilton. The accommodation is walking distance to the town centre with supermarkets, bars and restaurants. The studio room has it's own access and is set in a large restful section with mature trees. You will have a peaceful private place to stay with a garden view.
