Why not kick back & relax in this calm stylish chalet? The owners, have tenderly re-created a heavenly chalet after the original chalet from the 1930's was knocked down in 2019 & rebuilt to this stunning standard by local craftsmen. The owners wanted a family space to share with guests, and have a mix of modern , retro & vintage with panoramic views over the ocean stretching as far as Rame Head ,Looe, Seaton & Downderry. Close to HMS Raleigh &Polhawn Fort. There are 120 steps down to the chalet.

“On The Beach” has the best views in Shaldon

The apartment is situated on the second floor and has recently been fully refurbished and tastefully furnished and decorated. There are fabulous views of Shaldon harbour and beach from every window. Probably the best views of Shaldon from the double aspect windows of the living room. Watch the boats come in and out of the harbour, the constantly changing panarama of sand, sea and sky. A short level walk to the local shops, cafes and pubs. Shaldon Beach 10 m and Ness Beach less than 15 minutes.

Close to Torbay, and Dartmoor National Park, by car 15 minutes to Torquay, 20 minutes to Exeter and 30 minutes to Dartmouth. 2 hours 30 minutes to London by train. Coombe Cellars bar and restaurant is 250m along the foreshore. Templer way footpath passes the front of the property. (Haytor to Teignmouth)

Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms and a family bathroom. The property is in a ideal location, only 3 mins walk to the town centre, 10 mins walk to the sea front, 7 mins walk to Teignmouth Train Station, 15 mins walk to Shaldon. We are Dog friendly but pets cannot be left unattended in the property.

This unique cabin has beautiful river views and it's a wonderful place to watch the sunset. The high ceilings and wood burning stove give it an ambience that sets the scene for a cosy yet elegant vibe. Little luxuries like underfloor heating in the shower room add to the comfort that we seek to provide. There is a small paved area outside with a table which is perfect for a coffee or a glass of wine. Parking for one car is available and it's a 10 min walk to the centre of Topsham

Historical Heritage Listed Mill and smallholding

The property is part of an English Heritage Listed water mill that used to grind corn ,and this part used to be the Millers' home- the host lives next door in the converted mill.Sadly the water wheel long gone,but the mill pit survives and sympathetic renovations ensures the character of this unique and lovely ancient building remain.If you love quirky old buildings with antique furniture ,stone walls and beams- and friendly sheep,this is the place for you!-( 4 people max.)
