This cute white cottage with a thatched roof is like from a fairy tale book! As if you really live in authentic Giethoorn. (North) The boats can be rented from the neighbors and the beautiful bridges can be found only a 6-minute walk away. This is where Giethoorn originated, and the oldest cottages line the path. Without crowds of tourists. (They’re in Giethoorn Zuid.) Here, you can still enjoy the wonderful tranquillity and beauty of the historic village of Giethoorn. Unfortunately not suitable for infants/children from 0 to 8.

Holiday home on the water, with jetty

Water-rich Friesland at its best. In the heart of Friesland lies Terherne, on the Snekermeer. In the morning, breakfast on the terrace on the water. Then go to the Snekermeer by sloop or sailboat (Plenty for rent in the village). After a day of water fun, a BBQ and at home, casting out a fishing rod. The next day, discovering the Kameleon village or going out in Friesland is an option. This is just a selection of the many possibilities that our child-friendly place offers for a weekend, midweek vacation.

Loft en Mar is een unieke zeer ruime woning (200m2) die met liefde voor de natuur, design en rust is ingericht. Het huis is geschikt voor families en groepen tot 10 personen die willen genieten van de rust en schoonheid van Friesland. In de open leefkeuken kijk je uit over het weidse Friese landschap en vanaf het terras op het meer van Terherne. Het huis beschikt over 4 ruime slaapkamers en bedstede voor 2 personen, 2 badkamers en 2 keukens. Bij Loft en Mar vind je rust en ruimte, lucht en meer!

This bustling water sports village has many amenities for a relaxing stay (including supermarket, restaurants). Our lovely five-person holiday home (Sinneskyn) is situated in a natural setting with a private harbour. With a berth for guests. A garden with plenty of privacy and several terraces. The property is very suitable for families with children. In the backyard 🪵 🔥 hot tub (with bubbles & jets). This can be booked at an additional cost of €99,- per rental period (one week or less).

The Landscape

In this luxurious spacious home, you will experience rural life at its best! With a magnificent view over the countryside in the characteristic landscape of the Frisian Forests, it is wonderful to relax. Even from your bed, you can enjoy the great views and a beautiful sunrise. Who knows, you might spot deer, cows, birds and hares in the meadow. Enjoy the alpacas in the yard. The Landzicht is a great starting point to explore the area. Located near nature reserves, Drachten and the A7.

Guesthouse Yn'e Skuorre with playground beach

Guest house for 2 adults and 3 children because the other beds are shorter (length 1.80m). Babies are also welcome. Toys, high chairs and baby items are provided. With cozy garden square, private beach as playground, large lawn and child-friendly Labrador. Our guest house was newly built in 2018 in traditional style with oak beams, Frisian yellow stone wall and concrete floor with floor heating. Within walking distance of a forest and lake with beach and swimming jetty.

Pier Pander 2

Everything is within easy reach from this centrally located space. This spacious, detached upstairs apartment has a sheltered roof terrace and a living room with lots of windows that offer views of the famous Oldehove and the green, water-rich Prinsentuin. The spacious kitchen has all the facilities to prepare a delicious meal. The house has 3 bedrooms, a crib and high chair, 3 toilets, 2 bathrooms. A free parking space outside and a separate indoor garage to be booked.

A place to arrive and unwind: Renovated in 2020, the house is quietly situated in a water-surrounded residential complex in Friesland. On 88 m², you’ll find a fireplace, sauna, outdoor shower, and a spacious garden with a lounge. Equipped with solar panels, it offers sustainable comfort for families or couples seeking nature, light, and relaxation—whether for peaceful days by the water, active outdoor moments, or cozy evenings by the fireplace, all year round.

Nice house on the Boarne, near the Frisian lakes

Our house is a small but very nice house. From the jetty, you can board the boat and sail towards the Frisian lakes. The house is very quiet and is equipped with every comfort. You can stay comfortably with 4 people at the Wjitteringswei. The beds are wonderful. They are now set up as a double bed but can also be set up as 4 single beds. Wi-Fi is of course also available. And above all, a fantastic view. Check-in from 3 p.m. and check-out until 12 p.m.

The Carriage House near Leeuwarden

Rural location on the Elfsteden route, on the edge of the Leeuwarder forest we rent out our "6 person coach house". The former coach house we have converted into a beautiful apartment and is next to our farm with private terrace on the south. Do you want to stay in a quiet environment where nature plays the main role then this apartment is for you. We, Ate and Gerda are owners since 2016 and have made our farm in Jelsum completely sustainable.

Our lovely house is an old renovated farm, with all the comfort of today. The holidayhome de Drentse Hooglander has its own entrance, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen, a cosy living room with tv( netflix), a private garden and terrace. You'll find us in Eemster, just 3km from Dwingeloo, at a quiet road nearby 3 large naturereserves. Biketours and hikes starts from the house. Aldo and i hope to see and welcome you!

Cozy cottage in the center and on the water in Sneek

This uniquely located workers' cottage, dating from 1908, is located at the rear of Sneek's historic central station. You can walk to the supermarket within 1 minute and within 5 minutes to the center of Sneek with cozy terraces, shops and restaurants. When you check in, you can take a key to the property from the key box at the bottom left by the front door, and the entire property will be at your disposal!
