Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Terschelling

We had a great stay at Steffen's place. The house was equipped as described, which we have rarely experienced so far, so that we felt very comfortable. The kids went on a voyage of discovery right away and found plenty to deal with wonderfully. We stayed in the house just before Easter and we didn't get bored. Most of the restaurants etc were already open at least on weekends. Only the boat tours start after our departure on April 19. (as information for successors who want to travel in the same period... :-)) Steffen responded super quickly and looked for solutions to problems and always had them ready. What a great location on Texel in the beautiful village of Oudeschild. Moderately centrally located, so you are everywhere within 15 min. The cottage was very complete, everything has been thought of. Unfortunately, Agnes herself was on vacation with her family, so we were not able to meet in person, but the communication went very well all week, also from Agnes it was regularly asked how everything went here, very nice!

We had a wonderful time with our daughter. There are so many interesting things to do on the island. The indoor pool with its crazy slides was fantastic. Gerdi was a terrific host. We‘ll come again.

What a nice house to stay!! Very tastefully decorated, full of comforts and clean! Close to parking. A nice garden to enjoy the sun. Pleasant contact with the host. Everything was to your liking!

Unfortunately, my own stay was only of a very short duration, because I became increasingly sick during the first evening. Karin helped us (I stayed here for a weekend with my best friend) with the contact details of the doctor's guard and there, in addition to antibiotics, I got the advice to go out at home sick... So whether my husband still pick me up around midnight. Extremely unfortunate because the cottage had/has everything we had been looking forward to. From a nice dining table to chat at, playing games, being creative, to a really beautifully finished bathroom, well-equipped kitchen and a lovely bed (I spent a few hours sick there that afternoon so I'll take that experience as a "bonus". My girlfriend was able to explore the beautiful surroundings further after my departure, she stayed there to enjoy the tranquility and did this to the fullest! In the future, we hope for a resit because this location is definitely worth it!

We stayed at the property over New Year's Eve and felt very much at home. The location right on the water is a highlight. It is a very quiet area, so highly recommended for a relaxing break.

We stayed at Liesje's place for a weekend and we were super lucky with the weather. We were able to have breakfast and long evenings on the terrace by the water in early october. A beautiful, quiet place to wind down!

It was a really great experience, it might be the most beautiful airbnb house I have ever stayed in. The garden and decoration everything was very peaceful. The host Ellen was very helpful, everything you were looking for was at home. As she was always in the same place, we were able to communicate easily. Walking distance to the centre. Beautiful tidy house with large usable garden in an absolutely quiet location. Shopping and bike rental is 2 km away.

Lovely cottage in a nice quiet area. We will definitely book again. By car everything is easy to reach. Communication is top and everything we needed was present in the cottage.

We have enjoyed the quiet place to stay and the beautiful spaces. I was bothered a lot to get the digital key on my phone, while we were in the cold there. I should have arranged it myself in advance, I noticed later. It was a very nice holiday despite that, it was an ideal place for us to stay. We walked along the water and enjoyed what the island has to offer. There are many activities to do, which are described in the Texel newspaper, which we had taken from the boat. There was no info in the cottage itself, fortunately I was prepared for that. When leaving it was not clear, what had to be done with the garbage..there was one container, where everything was allowed?? I took everything home with me to sort at home. I think that's a minus point!!! It is a recommended place!! thank you.

Great stay and very peaceful location.

We really enjoyed our stay at Herkes cabin . It is set on a little nursery/mini farm/camping in the countryside. It had lovely views over open country side. It was very clean and comfortable and had a heated floor and a log burner so we were very cosy. The bed was a good size with a comfortable mattress. It is up steep steps and the bathroom is on the ground floor so would not suit someone with mobility problems. We had our dog with us and there was plenty of places to walk last thing at night and in the morning. We visited the beautiful harbour town of Harlingen and took a ferry ride to Terschelling island . If you want a very quiet place to relax in the beautiful Dutch countryside then this is perfect.

Beautiful house with everything you need within a resort, quietly located 50-100 hundred meters from two beaches. Ideal for family holidays or windsurfing holidays, there are also some bikes in the garage to get around. We can only recommend.

Zilverduin is a beautiful house! The location was our favourite feature; within walking distance to a beautiful beach. Leonie was great with giving us tips about the area and things that were handy like rental bikes which got delivered straight to the house - what a luxury! A few things I would have liked to see though, would be: something to handle the mosquitos in the house and higher quality bedding items (the crib for the baby was below expectations for a house at this price point, as were the pillows). Other than that, the host was easy to reach. There is also a caretaker nearby to speak to incase of any emergency. The host also was kind enough to let us check in early and change our dates last minute all to accommodate our ferry times (which I highly suggest booking WELL in advance, ie weeks, if not months!). She also allowed my friends to bring their service dog even though we notified her late. All in all, we had a wonderful and relaxing stay with two families and our kids!

We had a great extended weekend at this beautiful place. ( 4 adults, 3 children) We lacked nothing. The communication was great, the contact very friendly. A great house, beautiful location, great island.

A beautiful house in a beautiful place. Especially the large living space on the first floor, overlooking the water and a sheltered outdoor space to sit outside (already in April) stand out. The area is accessible, has a lot to do, also within walking distance. Highly recommended.

Great location. Walking distance to Cocksdorp. At the edge of the park, therefore a nice view and tranquility. Easily traveled by car. Three bathrooms, so good for groups (in our case three families) and yet privacy and private place.

Very nice and spacious place to relax and cook and dine! The house is located between other (detached) houses but has plenty of privacy and a very well-maintained garden with many cozy seats and user comforts. We loved the hot tub, sauna and BBQ facilities.

A lovely house with every comfort! What a nice island Ameland is and what a nice place is holiday home Chill. Nice village where you can still do your shopping in the neighborhood supermarket, eat out at the farm and in the evening then chill in the house.

We had a wonderful time in Makkum with our children! This house is a great place to slow down!
