Family-friendly holiday rentals in Thalang District

Yulia's place is stunning! It's exactly like the photos and exceptionally maintained. Yulia's communication was great, with advice on preordering groceries, and she arranged a cot which honestly was in better shape than almost every place I've stayed (incl many hotels), and she was super responsive about maintenance in the flat when there were a couple of niggles, and it helped that she had a local contact that could help out too. The location is amazing, the condo has a number of stunning pools, isnt far from the airport, and is right on a peaceful stretch of Mai Khao beach. There are a few good beachside eateries around, or you can head to one of the big hotels for food. It's all walkable or you can get a local taxi just outside the condo. NOTE: one thing we did miss was that there is a deposit that needs to be paid in CASH. It's not an insignificant amount so just make sure you bring enough - we didn't and there was no way to pay it via a transfer or similar.

Die Villa war wunderschön und entsprach dem aufgezeigten Inserat! Des Weiteren war sie stets sauber und wurde regelmäßig gereinigt. ☺️ Auch die Kommunikation mit dem Besitzer verlief gut, da er stets erreichbar war und zügig antwortete. 👍🏼

We had a great vacation. Pam took good care of us and helped with all the little things. She assisted us in organizing the transfer to the villa and sent us plenty of useful recommendations for places to visit. She was always available and quickly helped us solve any issues. The villa is excellent, with a very nice pool and a beautiful garden with flowers. The house has everything you need and even more. Our vacation went perfectly, largely thanks to Pam and her care for us. We had a wonderful time staying at this house!

We had a great couple of weeks in this clean, cool and comfy apartment, over Xmas and NY. Great shower, strong air con and a decent outdoor space on the balcony. It was 20 mins slow walk to the heart of Kamala Beach, and 5 mins out the back gate to get to a range of supermarkets and local food spots. The hosts arranged transport from the airport, which went like a dream. The road next the apartment block is always very busy, but that didn’t really disturb us. You do need to keep alert walking to the beach though (no pavement in places). We used the condo’s gym, which had a full range of dumbbells and a multi-use machine, and the pool was large and cool. It didn’t get the sun all day, but from about 11 you could grab a couple of hours there. We had fresh towels and cleaning a few days in, which was nice, and it was great to have the washing machine and detergent. The only sink is in the bathroom, but that room is huge, so plenty of room really. All in all, we had an enjoyable stay!

Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, bietet viel Platz und der Pool ist einfach ein Highlight – ideal zum Entspannen und Genießen. Der Service von Frau Porn und ihrem Team war absolut tadellos: stets freundlich, hilfsbereit und sehr aufmerksam. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das fantastische Frühstück, das jeden Morgen frisch zubereitet wurde – abwechslungsreich, lecker und mit viel Liebe serviert. Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt, den wir wärmstens weiterempfehlen können. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

The villa was as shown in the pictures, spacious and even larger than expected. The view was fantastic! While a car is necessary to get around, it’s well worth it for the location and scenery. The support staff were attentive, helpful, and communicated quickly. We stayed as a family and had a wonderful time. Highly recommend!

This villa is absolutely amazing. The pictures don’t do it justice. Peter was an amazing host during our entire stay. Very responsive and very proactive to our wants and needs. Chef Lee was absolutely fantastic. Her food was delicious and she was very attentive to our wants and needs as well. The cleaning ladies are amazing as well very sweet and helpful. Kept the place spic and span. This place is a 10 out of 10.

Beautiful condo unit with direct access to the pool which our son loved. Our host was super lovely and welcoming, by far one of the best air bnb hosts we have had. We have been coming to this condo location for the past 10 years now, it’s one of a kind in Phuket. Quiet location away from any let’s say usual ‘crowds’, right on the quiet beach, near all the 5* resorts for meal time treats. Get a car or a bike to explore the mainland to give you freedom to explore. Will be back! Thank you! ✨

We were a family, so maybe not the average visitors, but our original idea of going down to the beach often evaporated the moment the younger one realized he can almost stand in the pool. Thus we spent our time at the villa in the pool, in the jungle, at the local shops, in the Haifa cafe, with no need to even interact with the tourist hustle and bustle down there. The muezzin sings beautifully and clearly, the roosters too, the pool is the right size and depth, and the villa design was clearly inspired by Adolf Loos and his ideas about the Raumplan, he surely would have loved it too. We were happy there.

Beautiful tranquil location, warm welcome from our friendly and helpful host and very well equipped. We loved the welcome fruit bowl.

Katrina was a wonderful host. Due to torrential rains and flooding in Phuket on the day of our arrival, the house we had originally booked was sadly flooded. Katrina organized for us to have a different (larger) house in approx the same area, and for the same price. We are grateful for her organizing! We have all really enjoyed our stay, and the kids (age 9 to 17) really enjoyed the pool. Luck, the property manager, was sweet and helpful, and we had all we needed. Thanks!

Мы отлично отдохнули! Спасибо огромное Марку и домработнице Эм! Дом прекрасен! Пляж в пешей доступности и отличные виды на океан выше всех ожиданий. Тишина и уединенность района нас очень порадовали. Но главная изюминка дома в той искренней заботе и уюте, которыми нас окружила Эм. Спасибо огромное! С радостью приедем снова!

Best place to relax. Get a seaside villa and you’re in heaven. You physically fall from your bed into the supernice and clean sea. You have your big private pool inside the courtyard of your mansion. Yes, the villas are huge. Amazingly friendly personell. And a good restaurant by the seaside. Main pool is huge with a bar serving the best mango margaritas…. Best hideaway I’ve been so far. I definitely come back. Thanks to all the staff!

We stayed here for 4 nights and had an amazing experience. The villa is absolutely beautiful and spacious. It’s tucked away in an incredibly peaceful part of Phuket, just a short drive/walk from Bangtao Beach, which makes it perfect for a family getaway. The location felt private and serene, but was still close enough to some great restaurants, shops and even some markets. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our stay, making everything super smooth and stress-free. Would 100% recommend this villa to anyone looking for a relaxing escape with family or friends! Thanks, Dominic!

It's the seconde time I rent the villa and it's always perfect. Jerome is really nice and helpful. I really commend this house who is just perfect and few minutes from the Kamala beach.

Fantastisch verblijf bij Villa Desi We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad in Villa Desi! Het verblijf was perfect in alle opzichten. De villa is prachtig ingericht, schoon en voorzien van alle gemakken die je nodig hebt. De rustige locatie zorgt voor totale ontspanning, terwijl alles wat je nodig hebt binnen handbereik is. De gastvrijheid van de eigenaren was buitengewoon; ze deden er alles aan om ons verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Het zwembad en de tuin waren goed onderhouden en een heerlijke plek om te ontspannen. We kijken ernaar uit om hier in de toekomst weer terug te keren. Bedankt, Villa Desi, voor een onvergetelijke ervaring!

Le logement de Laurent est parfait, très agréable, et décoré avec soin, vous y trouvez tout ce dont vous avez besoin… La résidence est vraiment très belle et très bien entretenu et le personnel très gentil. Very glad we chose this bungalow. It was very peaceful and relaxing. We stayed the full week and got treated with at most respect like it was our first day. Great food and service. My friend and I stayed for a week. What a great deal! We had originally budgeted for a 1 bdrm and were thrilled to find an affordable 2 bdrm with 2 baths! The apartment is close to so many delicious restaurants and cute shops. There’s construction across the street, but it did not bother us. Highly recommend.

An excellent few days at Nicolas’s apartment. We were able to check in early and it was super easy to gain access. Bedrooms and bathrooms were great. We didn’t use the kitchen but it appeared to be well stocked. We appreciated the bottled water and snacks. An easy walk to all that Surin has to offer.
