Number Sixteen is a small Victorian terrace in the old part of town. Recently refurbished after standing empty, the house has been completely reworked inside to provide a comfortable, up to date home in the centre of Alnwick. This is our two bedroom cosy apartment situated just a stone’s throw from Alnwick market place. In fact it is above a cheese shop and close to a bakery. A perfect start to the day. You can also walk to the many other shops, cafes and restaurants. In Alnwick is the wonderful Barter Books where you can browse at your leisure and make good use of the cafe on site. Only a very short drive is the coast. Miles of beautiful beaches overlooked by impressive castles. What could be better?

Our flat has two good sized bedrooms one with a Kingsize bed with fresh Egyptian cotton bedding and there are an additional two comfortable sofa beds. Bedroom one has an ensuite with shower and there is also a main bathroom with a bathtub. A lovely light and spacious flat including a lounge-kitchen room.

It's also perfectly located (about a 10 min walk) for Alnwick Castle & Gardens. Newly decorated/carpeted, the house is the perfect place for a Northumbrian break. Alnmouth Bay is just under 10 mins drive, with Beadnell, Seahouses and Bamburgh about another 15 mins away.

This early nineteenth century property was once a Victorian School House but has been a dwelling for over a hundred years. In 2015 the property was renovated and no expense has been spared on this tastefully furnished apartment. There is a beautiful log-burner in the living room fireplace - with fuel provided - so the apartment is truly a cosy space even with its modern, light and airy open-plan aesthetic.
