Holiday rentals with a fire pit in The Forks

Our family and I had a wonderful stay at Jackies, we are all originally from maine, and her home gives you everything great about maine. We really felt at home, it snowed christmas eve which made it even more beautiful ( The driveway was plowed out early as well). I brought a small christmas tree with us on our trip up, and when we walked in, the place was decorated for christmas, which was just amazing and so thoughtful. We definitly plan on staying again, the next time we are back in maine. Thank you again Jackie!

This place was so quiet and peaceful. It was perfect for our family while we were visiting family for the Thanksgiving holiday. Host was very responsive and helpful.

Had a great time staying here! There was so much space, everything was very comfy, loved the pool + ping pong + hot tub. The road getting up to the place is unpaved so we were concerned our 2WD car couldn’t make it up, but by the time we got back from skiing, the road had been plowed and sanded. The two minor downsides during my stay were the water (shower + sinks) occasionally smelled strongly of sulfur (?) but it wasn’t a big deal because the fridge had a filtered water dispenser. Also there is a requirement to not wear shoes in the house but the floors were dirty. No visible dirt but the floors definitely were not mopped. Very responsive host so I imagine if I complained about it something would have been done but it wasn’t actually a real issue.

Went with two other families to ski at Mount Abram. This is a great spot. Perfectly situated to start at the west side lift. Fun space. Great open space for families to hang out and fun basement area for kids.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were so pleased with the house and hope to rent again in the future. It was really cozy and right on the river. We had a great stay!

Steve's place was awesome. We had a great time utilizing all the games...darts/pool/ping pong etc. The kitchen had everything we needed and the big dining room table was a bonus. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay. The location was ideal and everything we needed was supplied. The house was exactly as pictured and well stocked and very clean. Chelsey was very responsive to any questions and they also dropped off some very thoughtful sweet treats! Highly recommend and we would definitely stay again!

This a beautiful spot! Tucked away from the roads and very quiet. The private lake access is great and the views are beautiful. So thankful we found this place!

Nancy greeted us warmly upon arrival, making us feel instantly welcome. Her place is in a quiet neighborhood with ample parking and offers thoughtful touches like muffins, coffee, tea, and bottled water. Prices are extremely reasonable. The space was exceptionally clean, spacious, and well-stocked with extra blankets, pillows, and bath linens. We will definitely stay at Nancy’s again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Pittsfield area.

The cabin was exactly as described. The cabin had everything we needed for our four night stay while we visited family in the area, very quaint and quiet. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners and their dogs. They gave us the heads up of possibly adding more cabins which interested us. We have a large family and would love to return to the Knotty Pine Trailside Cabin complex and rent out a few for the whole family. Great place to stay.

Very happy with our stay at Rob and Jessie’s cabin. We were there to bird hunt, and the ability to have dogs was definitely a need for us. Location was great, plenty of space, good internet access, and full kitchen and bathroom. Communication was great too. Would stay there again for sure!

What a wonderful weekend away! We absolutely loved how cozy the cabin was. The local coffee was delicious, especially for our little walk on the trails to the river. We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing time away in the woods. Super close to Sugarloaf and Saddleback mountains. Thank you to our hosts for providing such a great place, we plan to book again in the future!

The Lucky Duck Lodge is a beautiful place to escape everything and relax. The house overlooks two ponds where deer were grazing each morning and at dusk every day. I highly recommend this adorable getaway!

We loved staying at the cabin! It was 2 adults and one infant, and we had plenty of space to setup a pack n play for the baby to sleep. It was very clean, even for such an old cabin. The heat worked good since it was still cold in April. Lisa came over to introduce herself and asked if we needed anything, super friendly. It’s perfect for a short stay with a small family/couple. Just remember to bring your own towels :) The front porch with the rocking chairs is awesome as well. We will stay here again the next time we are in the Skowhegan area!

Beautiful place, very cozy and private! The pups had a great time. Our host was very welcoming and even left a dog bed and water bowl out for them :)

We just loved this Airbnb and the wonderful location on the stream. You could fall asleep to the roaring stream, sip coffee and other beverages on the deck overlooking the stream. The cabin has a Maine woods decor- which we loved. Shawn was very responsive and had great recommendations. We plan to come back at some point

Chris’s place was great for our weekend stay. Close to Bethel and Black Mountain. Perfect for two people. Clean, comfortable bed, and very peaceful.
