Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Thiérache

We had a wonderful stay, so peaceful and idyllic and the little cottage had everything we needed. A very lovely property! Clever & thoughtful use of space, plus nice big comfy bed. Great location for us coming from the eurotunnel, and easy access to other parts of France and Belgium. My husband was very pleased with the recommendations for several of the war memorials and points of interest. We also enjoyed a lovely dinner at the windmill, where both staff & locals were very welcoming and helpful with English translations. We also enjoyed a day trip to Ypres and dinner in Poperinge. Would highly recommend!

Emily is a wonderful hostess who went out of her way to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Her breakfasts were generous and always had fresh, new and interesting items to tempt… including cheeky chocolate chunks! The accommodation is also generous with plenty of space and, weather permitting, a lovely garden to enjoy. The position is also excellent, providing easy access to many of Belgium’s cities and attractions if you want to avoid moving from place to place. We highly recommend Emily’s place and plan to return in the future.

If you want to visit the Verdun area and the battlefield site, this place is perfect and not far from the site! Our host was very welcoming, she offered us a great pti dej, everything was perfect we recommend!!

We were coming for the Enduro de MONS, we arrived late and left early we regret not having had the breakfast offered because the day by motorbike was rough and the breakfast on site light. Next year we will come back and enjoy more of the place and be able to chat a little more with Valerie!

Jan and Bart were great, helpful and warm-hearted hosts. I got good tips for Bruges and Ghent and also for the best places at the beach, was even taken to the train station and picked up again. It is a beautiful house with a large garden. The breakfast was also very good and plentiful. I really enjoyed my stay

Great stay at Ellen and Chris's! The room was cozy with all the amenities you need. The accommodation is a few hundred yards from the nearest beach. We did everything on foot from their place and we were even able to park already close to the accommodation during the day. Breakfast was great: hearty, gourmet and healthy! The hot tub and hammam shower we used are particularly pleasant:) We highly recommend the place! Hosts are particularly attentive and very available for any information. We came with our dog, who was welcomed as well as us. Just a quick note, for the extras we took (hamman care pack and birthday pack), the extras were nice but a little expensive for what is provided. for me, the stay with Virginie and Sébastien was exactly what I was looking for. It was like visiting family in France, with a delicious breakfast, a cozy room and bathroom in their own home. My children crawled cozily with their children behind the TV, cozy chats, warm welcome and the 4 kittens made our stay complete! Very curious what Virginie will put on the table when you book Table d'Hote...who knows for next time

As described and what I was doing with Airbnb in a local's home. I was looking for calm, and seclusion during the day so I could work, which I had perfectly in the upper room with adjacent bathroom, and excellent wifi connection. But also the opportunity to connect and chat with people if I wanted and it was the case. Cathie and Lionnel are attentive, very friendly and discreet, the evening meal with them was a very pleasant moment of sharing and discussion, around a good homemade meal. Flexible hours, bed, sheet, clean mattress and bathroom, quality amenities, and special mention in Lionnel for the little coffee at noon with its beautiful coffee maker:)

Both room and bathroom were nice and clean. Claud and Eric are really nice and helpful. The breakfast was great. It was nice that there was a small fridge and an electric kettle. The apartment complex is nice and safe. There is a porter at the entrance. We would like to come again, it is recommendable.

The room was spacious and very comfortable, quiet in a beautiful little village, not far from the sea and well located for exploring this beautiful area. The homemade bread and croissants were delicious, and Marie-Noëlle and her husband were available and very welcoming, we will surely come back.

We stayed with Isabelle with a couple of friends and particularly appreciated the fact that each couple has their own bathroom. Peaceful place, comfortable bedding, good welcome and flexibility regarding arrival time..we'll be back with pleasure!

Good location, Close to train station, and shopping mall. And 10 minutes from the airport. Super well .
