Holiday rentals with a kayak in Thiérache

What a great place. If you want to explore the famous Flandrian hills on a bike THIS is the place to stay. Brilliant accommodation with a superb little garage which is perfect for the bikes. Can’t recommend highly enough. Brigitte was brilliant and helpful. A superb host.

This was a fabulous house to stay in. For our family of 5 there was plenty of indoor and oudoor space. The salt water pool was delightful, as was the whole garden with plenty of seating and relaxing areas. The children loved the trampoline and petanque. The house is in a superb location. We had many walks and bike rides along the beautiful river. There was plenty to do locally - we went bowling, mini golf, kayaking, to the football and Le Trot. The area was peaceful and very safe. We did a few trips into Paris which took about 30 minutes from the house. Stephanie was incredibly helpful and informative. We could not have had a better holiday, thanks to this lovely house and hosts.

A beautiful place where you can't help but unwind. We recommend it to anyone who loves coziness, coziness and charm.

We had a pleasant family stay with our dog. The house is very clean, sober. The grounds were a plus for our dog. The beds are comfortable. The area is quiet and there is bakery, cafe, restaurant. butcher shop nearby. Be careful to respect the car locations, we stopped in front of the house to unload and already 2 neighbors came to warn us not to park there. 😅 Very beautiful region! and do not hesitate to eat at the restaurant "It was called Gatsby" a regal and the super nice boss.

sylvie en reinde have received us very kindly and are very nice and discreet. The surprise with the tagine and the biscuits was a great touch; thanks for that! The cottage is small but has everything you need, with a nice view of the river and the forest. The terrace is nice; during Christmas Eve in December it was cold, but we could make a fire on the terrace and had an unforgettable evening. We will definitely come back!

Excellent stay in a beautiful private location in small valley on river. Super for kids of all ages, or older groups. Everyone very friendly and helpful

We had a fantastic week in Guillaume's house, just below the ramparts of Montreuil sur mer. Guillaume's parents were charming and helpful at check in, and gave us tomatoes from their garden. The house was even better than described, with a beautiful garden with a great pool, table football, table tennis and petanque, so perfect for both sunny and cloudy days. We slept very well in the comfortable beds and it was so quiet compared with London! The beaches were nearby, and best of all was the picturesque walk to the town, with it's excellent restaurants, boulangerie and amazing fromagerie. I couldn't recommend a stay here more, thank you

Come to participate in the orchid exhibition at the Abbey of Vaucelles. The space is true to the photos and nicely furnished. Catherine is very kind. We had a lovely stay. The place is quiet and relaxing.

We stayed only one night, but it was great. The place is very well situated in a calm area just next to the river. The only thing to think about if you are staying a long time is that the fridge is quite small and there is no freezer. But there is a huge supermarket very close, so you could probably just buy the things you need day by day.

We lived two days in a splendid lodge in an idyllic setting. We met all our expectations and even more. Our hosts were thoughtful and warm. A place where we will definitely return for a little longer stay. Thanks to Cédric and Bérengère

We had a great evening by the fire with good grilled food purchased a stone's throw away under the stars. The setting is nice, you quickly disconnect with everyday life and the superfluous. We highly recommend this place to people wishing to disconnect from civilization and find themselves in complete simplicity at a very attractive price. Thank you again for your hospitality and kindness.

A top stay! A very homely and cozy atmosphere in the cottage. A great sun terrace at the back, completely surrounded by trees and greenery. It's full of check marks, pimples, greaties... who come to greet you while enjoying the local splendor in the garden chairs. The home features a cozy and spacious seating area. In terms of multimedia, we were also spoiled. TV with many possibilities, SONOS, smooth WiFi... The bedrooms in the tip of the vacation home are sufficiently spacious and beautifully decorated, the mattresses are well located... A neat, nicely renovated bathroom with spacious shower and enough hot water for our family (2 adults and three adolescents). The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessities if you want to cook yourself, very modern and clean. In short, the owners put their soul in the vacation home and we felt that! Thank you, Rob and Maudi! And all this a stone's throw from one of the most beautiful towns in the Ardennes...

We had an amazing stay in this cabin. This is one of the most peaceful place you’ll find in the area with a lot of nature surrounding the place. The terrace on the lake was also one of the thing we really liked. Everything went perfectly with an easy and responsive communication from Astrid. We had nothing to say about the cleanliness of the place: kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, everything was perfectly clean and smelt like home. We only put 5 stars because we couldn’t go gave it 10 😉

Allowed to stay at this location for the long weekend. We know the cottages in this park from previous visits, but this cottage is really our preference! Very well thought out about the decor and using the space available in a good way. The bathroom is wonderfully spacious and the separate toilet room is also very pleasant. The placement of the kitchen also makes you have a lovely spacious kitchen where you can easily and very pleasantly work with connection to the nice seating area of the house. All this makes it a particularly pleasant cozy cottage and thus also makes it a very pleasant stay. Reason enough to come back here again if this matches our agendas and availability. Afterwards, I can only rate it as very positive.
