Holiday rentals with a kayak in Thiérache

What a great place. If you want to explore the famous Flandrian hills on a bike THIS is the place to stay. Brilliant accommodation with a superb little garage which is perfect for the bikes. Can’t recommend highly enough. Brigitte was brilliant and helpful. A superb host.

This was a fabulous house to stay in. For our family of 5 there was plenty of indoor and oudoor space. The salt water pool was delightful, as was the whole garden with plenty of seating and relaxing areas. The children loved the trampoline and petanque. The house is in a superb location. We had many walks and bike rides along the beautiful river. There was plenty to do locally - we went bowling, mini golf, kayaking, to the football and Le Trot. The area was peaceful and very safe. We did a few trips into Paris which took about 30 minutes from the house. Stephanie was incredibly helpful and informative. We could not have had a better holiday, thanks to this lovely house and hosts.

Een prachtige plek, waar je niet anders kan dan tot rust komen. We raden het iedereen aan die van knusheid, gezelligheid en charme houdt.

Superbe du début à la fin, nous vous remercions pour votre accueil et votre compréhension. Votre logement est magnifique et nous avons eu de la chance d'avoir la météo de notre côté afin de profiter du paddle et du pédalo, c'était fantastique ! Merci beaucoup 😊

Nous avons passe un agreable sejour en famille avec notre chienne. La maison est tres propre, sobre. Le terrain a ete un plus pour notre chien. Les lits sont confortables. Le quartier est calme et il y a boulangerie, cafe, restaurant. boucherie a proximité. Attention de bien respecter les emplacements de voiture, nous nous sommes arretes devant la maison pour decharger et deja 2 voisines sont venues nous avertir de ne pas se garer la. 😅 Tres belle region! et n hesitez pas à aller manger au restaurant "Il s'appelait Gatsby" un regal et le patron super sympa.

Super séjour. Une hôte très gentille à l’écoute et très arrangeante! Je recommande et si nous repassons dans le coin ça sera avec plaisir de louer de nouveau votre logement :)

Le logement se trouve dans un environnement paisible, au bord de la Meuse, avec une vue sur la forêt tout autour. La maison est bien aménagée, parfaite pour quatre personnes. De nombreuses activités sont possibles : vélo, pêche, randonnée ou simplement se reposer sur la terrasse. Sylvie est particulièrement attentionnée, d’une grande gentillesse et toujours disponible en cas de besoin. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié nos échanges avec elle, qui ont été chaleureux et très agréables.

Wat een heerlijke plek om vakantie te vieren, prachtig gelegen aan de Maas en volop mogelijkheden voor leuke activiteiten, mooie wandelingen, fietstochten of gewoon lekker rustig chillen. Zwembad viel ook erg in de smaak bij onze pubers. Huisje was erg knus, heerlijk schoon en geheel volgens beschrijving. Els was altijd makkelijk bereikbaar. Kortom, een superplek!

We had a fantastic week in Guillaume's house, just below the ramparts of Montreuil sur mer. Guillaume's parents were charming and helpful at check in, and gave us tomatoes from their garden. The house was even better than described, with a beautiful garden with a great pool, table football, table tennis and petanque, so perfect for both sunny and cloudy days. We slept very well in the comfortable beds and it was so quiet compared with London! The beaches were nearby, and best of all was the picturesque walk to the town, with it's excellent restaurants, boulangerie and amazing fromagerie. I couldn't recommend a stay here more, thank you

Venu pour participer a l'exposition d'orchidées a l'Abbaye de Vaucelles. Le logement est fidèle aux photos et joliement aménagé. Catherine est très gentille. Nous avons passé un tres bon sejour. Le lieu est calme et reposant.

We stayed only one night, but it was great. The place is very well situated in a calm area just next to the river. The only thing to think about if you are staying a long time is that the fridge is quite small and there is no freezer. But there is a huge supermarket very close, so you could probably just buy the things you need day by day.

Nous avons vécu deux jours dans un splendide lodge situé dans un cadre idyllique. Nous y avons rencontré toutes nos attentes et même plus. Nos hôtes étaient attentionnés et chaleureux. Un endroit ou nous reviendrons certainement pour un séjour un peu plus long. Merci à Cédric et Bérengère

Nous avons passé une super soirée au coin du feu avec de bonnes grillades achetées à 2 pas sous les étoiles. Le cadre est agréable, on déconnecte vite avec le quotidien et le superflu. Nous recommandons cet endroit vivement aux personnes désirant coupé avec la civilisation et se retrouver en toute simplicité à prix très attractif. Een topverblijf! Een heel huiselijke en gezellige sfeer in het huisje. Een geweldig zonneterras aan de achterzijde, volledig omringd door bomen en groen. Het zit er vol vinkjes, pimpelmezen, koolmezen... die je even komen begroeten terwijl je in de tuinstoelen geniet van de lokale pracht. De woning is voorzien van een gezellige en ruime zithoek. Qua multimedia werden we ook verwend. TV met vele mogelijkheden, SONOS, vlotte WiFi... De slaapkamers in de tip van de vakantiewoning zijn voldoende ruim en mooi ingericht, de matrassen liggen goed... Een nette, mooi vernieuwde badkamer met ruime douche en voldoende warm water voor ons gezin (2 volwassenen en drie adolescenten). De keuken is volledig voorzien van alle benodigdheden als je zelf wil koken, heel modern en proper. Kortom, de eigenaars hebben hun ziel in de vakantiewoning gestoken en dat hebben we gevoeld! Bedankt, Rob en Maudi! En dit allemaal op een boogscheut van een van de mooiste stadjes in de Ardennen...

We had an amazing stay in this cabin. This is one of the most peaceful place you’ll find in the area with a lot of nature surrounding the place. The terrace on the lake was also one of the thing we really liked. Everything went perfectly with an easy and responsive communication from Astrid. We had nothing to say about the cleanliness of the place: kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, everything was perfectly clean and smelt like home. We only put 5 stars because we couldn’t go gave it 10 😉

Personne très gentille et accueillante, le site est comme sur la photo et j’ai passé une bonne nuit. Pour une nuit rapide ou un arrêt pour la nuit, je recommande 😄

Een lang weekend op deze locatie mogen verblijven. Wij kennen de huisjes op dit park van eerdere bezoeken, maar dit huisje heeft echt wel onze voorkeur! Er is erg goed nagedacht over de inrichting en het op een goede manier benutten van de beschikbare ruimte. De badkamer is heerlijk ruim en de aparte toiletruimte is ook erg aangenaam. Ook de plaatsing van de keuken maakt dat je een heerlijke ruime keuken hebt waar je makkelijk en erg prettig aan de slag kunt met aansluiting op het zit fijne zit gedeelte van de woning. Dat alles maakt het een bijzonder prettig sfeervol huisje en maakt het daarmee ook een heel erg plezierig verblijf. Reden genoeg om hier nog een keer terug te komen als dit overeenkomt met onze agenda's en de beschikbaarheid. Het nadien persoonlijk informeren hoe alles verlopen en ervaren is, kan ik alleen maar als heel positief beoordelen.
