Free camping overnight and a lovely spot away off the highway where can light a fire undercover and share the dinning opportunity with any others passing through with caravans. See Kangaroos, possums.

The Wannon Falls is picturesque and was the subject of the one of the great colonial painters, Eugene Von Guerard. It still looks remarkably similar today and has a swimming hole upstream of the falls that is a divine blue stone lined series of pools and often very quiet even on hot days, a perfect retreat to the cool fresh water while traveling through some picturesque countryside.
