Great fish and chips. This building sits over top of the water. Sit on the sheltered deck and watch the fishing boats come and go.

This is the very famous Mangonui Fish Restaurant located right over the harbour with a great selection of seafood. It has a seafood chowder that is very good. The restaurant is licenced so you can have a glass of wine or a beer with your meal.

The best place to stop after your trip to Cape Reinga - the best fish n chips - eat them sitting over the water. Perfect way to end a great day sight seeing
