The tulip festival occurs in early October, usually the first or second weekend- check their site for exact dates. Its a day of fun in Gutteridge gardens with the tulip tossing, gopher car race, and a mosaic of colours, flavours and folks wandering around. Loads of local produce and fairy floss. Whats not to love!

Definitely worth a visit to see the awesome array of colours and the thousands of tulips when in full bloom around October throughout the whole town. The festival has much to offer in Gutteridge Gardens with stalls of all kinds, entertainment and helicopter rides.
