A historic area with Gingerbread houses and The Tabernacle dating from the late 1800"s. Be sure to go to the Campground museum
Historic Methodist Campground which transitioned to a Gingerbread Village. Cute little houses with gingerbread trim on their porches. Tabernacle in the center where family sing alongs happen on the weekend.
A walk around the Tabernacle in Oak Bluffs gives you a nice shaded walk around the iconic Gingerbread Cottages which have made the town famous.
Gingerbread Cottages: Nestled within the heart of Oak Bluffs are over 180 small cottages that make up the “Campgrounds.” Evolved from tents & mail-order catalogues, these cottages represent a completely different era and are preserved by private owners and the Martha’s Vineyard Campmeeting Association.
