“Perfect for our family of 4 as a resting spot before Hobbiton. It’s location is an ideal 15 minute drive from the shores rest. Petite with a great view. Clean with gracious hosts.”
This listing is for a comfortable private twin small sized bedroom (2 x single beds) within our home suitable for two people. The facilities of bathroom and toilet, kitchen, dining and main lounge could be shared with other guests as we have three bedrooms available in total. Look for a sculpture of a Moa bird (NZ bird similar to an ostrich) on the front lawn. (We have 3 separate listings of a Family room for 5 with adjoining rumpus room for 2, a Double room for 3 and a Twin room for 2)
“Comfortable and stress-free stay with Wiki and Vince and their friendly cat! This room is next to the bathroom but the noise did not disturb me. Not too much road noise at night either. Wiki was also kind enough to put a pedestal fan in the room before I arrived in case it was too warm. There is a nice selection of breakfast foods, tea and coffee etc to help yourself to and otherwise only a short walk into town for cafes. Overall location is great as a base for exploring the north island. Thanks again :)”

“It was a pleasant experience staying at Elijah and Tracey's place. Elijah was very hospitable and even he waited for me long night as I was a bit late that made me happier than ever. The name of their stay is actually very relating to what they tried to offer to guests. The glass wall in the sanctuary overlooks a horizon of open land and sky from the very bed of yours. The moon lit night was literally all over me at night and I fell asleep in serenity. The next morning when I woke up, golden sunny ray welcomed me with its full. Later, Elijah gave me little trip around his garden, farming and some od his art work which was an awesome experience. I can't wait to visit his place again at my next trip with my family. Overall, their sanctuary was one of the best experience in my journey at New Zealand.”
