Frida's cottage was so incredibly nice! Perfect for us (4 adults and two children). Magical view of the lake and ski slopes. We had to borrow a baby bed and dining chair and sledges, so appreciated! Frida was so nice and helpful which really put the golden edge on the stay. We would be glad to come back!

Me and my family stayed in the cabin 22-29/12-2024 It was absolutely wonderful. Everything you needed it was there. It was warm and cosy. Great with a fireplace that you could light at night. There was plenty of wood. We needed you could help yourself to what was in the pantry. The best; the great view. Can't describe in words what magical mornings we got to experience. Elisabeth as a host was very good, Thoughtful ( had turned on the radiators before we arrived and we didn't have to freeze), responded quickly to texts. Had written clear instructions that were in the cabin. Highly recommend this home. Hope we can come back again soon❤️

A wonderful place to stay right on the lake, with everything you need. Our highlight was the fireplace in the glass house, where we spent the evening enjoying the surroundings. Martin was a great host who helped us with any questions we had immediately. We would love to come back! Thank you for the lovely time. :)

Luxury and children's friendly sea gem

A hidden gem, just a few hours drive from Stockholm. Frida's responsiveness to our questions before the stay was only one of the many ways in which this property outperformed our best expectations! The property is right on the water, with stunning views of the ocean from most bedrooms. The kitchen was fully equipped to satisfy the most demanding chef. The beds in the five bedrooms were extremely comfortable. In addition, the spacious hot tub and sauna provided the extra comfort for our weekend of relaxation. We hope to be able to plan another visit during the summer to experience this splendid location when it looks less like winter wonderland :) We highly recommend this property to anyone looking forward to a relaxing experience away from the noise of the big cities

Newly renovated cabin in beautiful old fishing village Skatan

We stayed in Skatan for 2 days. The house was beautifully located, has everything you need and looked like the pictures. The location is very quiet, but easily accessible by car. Marie and the neighborhood in Skatan were very nice. We were lucky enough to have the opportunity to see the Northern Lights one night. We would definitely come back if we travel to Sweden again.

Villa Järvsö, with sauna by the lake

Jonas house was so beautiful by the lake and was perceived as very private because it is the last house on that road. Everything about the house matched the description and the house felt warm, comfortable and cozy. The kitchen was well equipped and we lacked nothing. Since we were seven friends on a girls trip, all the bedrooms were used and everyone in the group reported that they had comfortable beds and slept well. Jonas himself is a superb host and replies fast on all sorts of (and impossible) questions. I can highly recommend this house both for the company of friends like us, but also for one or two families traveling together or even a couple who wants some privacy.

We had some lovely days at Claudia and Egil's house. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. Large wonderful garden and swimming opportunities from the jetty directly adjacent to the plot. The kids loved both the house and the outdoor environment . A very special house, with personal decor. Especially we appreciated all the live plants and small quirky details, both inside and out.

Perfect location and weather conditions to experience idyllic Swedish winter. Situated by the lake, this cottage offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities and a cozy fireplace to return to when the cold becomes too bitter. Wonderful experience, well worth the long drive.

Nice and cozy cottage. Compact living for four (parents and children). Nice and quietly located. We enjoyed our stay. A bit difficult to burn in the fireplace, it was easy to get a backup so please be careful that it pulls the right direction before you light the fire.

Two cozy cottages with jetty by the sea

We spent wonderful days as a family with 3 children. The location is fantastic directly on the sea. There are also great excursions within 1 hour. The only downside is that the nearest shopping is in Hudiksvall, about 15 minutes by car. Anita and Sven are very friendly hosts, they live next door and are always available for questions. The cabins are not spacious, but cozy and there is everything you need. With children, it was easily doable with five, but for 5 adults it is rather not recommended. We would definitely come back!
