Our group loved this cottage in the forest. It was clean and well presented mirroring the images on the Airbnb posting. The beautiful family room with the long dining table and parlor chairs is the heart of the house. It's perfect for a large dinner or a group gathering. As for value, if you require a large Nasu cottage with rooms that include an ensuite, then this is the place.

The facilities and room were beautiful and we had a pleasant stay.The check-in instructions were also easy to understand and convenient.

We stayed with 12 people, but it was large enough and very comfortable.There were hot springs and sightseeing spots nearby, and the location was good.The only thing I noticed was that the alarm of the smoke alarm kept going off.(It stopped ringing for a while after pressing the alarm stop button)

My family and I had a wonderful time at Tani House. The host welcomed us personally and gave us lots of tips for restaurants and things to do in the area. She was always available if we had additional questions or requests. As for the house, although it is an old traditional house, the beautiful renovation makes it so it is very comfortable and offers any facility you may need. It was a joy to spend time in the house and its design. A plus was the river that was perfect for swimming and only a 3 minute walk. It is perfect for exploring both the Yuzawa and the Tokamachi area. Highly recommend staying here.
