2003年の創業以来、世界中から訪れるさまざまな旅人を受け入れてきた五条ゲストハウス。こちらはその別館になります。 まるでおばあちゃんの家にいるようなどこか懐かしくなる場所。もともとは旅館として使われていた築80余年の趣のある建物です。 お部屋は全室個室。1階は受付と居間、共用のキッチン。客室は主に2階にあります。地下には、シャワールームとお手洗い、コインランドリーがあります。 Established in 2003. A budget guesthouse in a 80 some year old former traditional Kyoto style house. Close to center, sightseeing spots and historic sites. Our house has 2 floors and 1 basement. Shared Shower rooms and Toilets are on the basement. A free-use kitchen is available to cook own meals.

Our guest house Sumiya is in the centre of Kawayu village near Kumano Hongu Taisha shrine. River Oto in front is a unique river with its hot spring sources and you can enjoy an open air bath (small one in the summer and a big one in the winter). You can also dig your own mini bath in the summer for a little bathing under the milky way. Near to Kumano Kodo trail, Kawayu is one of the best destinations for those who want to know more about the area's history and culture and enjoy its nature.

3 min walk to Matsumoto castle and Nawate street. The Hostel faces a quiet street and there are some good-old restaurants, Izakaya bars and a public bath around there. The building is renovated traditional Japanese house so that you can enjoy cozy Japanese atmosphere and have a relaxing time on the Kotatsu, hammock and couch sofa in the common area. The room is Japanese-style dormitory room with bunk beds. Each bed has a reading light, outlets and a storage box for valuable items.

Our private room features 1 or 2 futon beds on traditional tatami floors. The shared areas include bathrooms, dining space and a work/lounge/library area. The hostel Saruya Hostel opened in 2015 in Fujiyoshida, a city at the bottom of Mt Fuji. We renovated an 80 years old wooden house to create a place that allows our guests to experience time and space through carefully selected art, design and objects, mixing traditional Japanese inspiration with modern aesthetics.

A budget guesthouse in a 100 some year old former traditional Kyoto style house with Cafe/Bar Close to center, Gion area and major sightseeing place. We are not like trendy hip hostel more rustic, laid back and warm atmosphere.
