Draved old-growth forest and Rømø/Wadden Sea (UNESCO) are also within reach by car. There is an efficient wood stove, 2 winter sleeping bags (Catharina Defence 6) with associated sheet bags, as well as regular duvets and pillows, blankets/blankets, etc. Fireplace that can be used whenever the weather permits. The cottage is 500 meters from the farm (access by car) where you can use your private bathroom, toilet. incl. firewood/charcoal.

Private house at the end of closed road in Tønder town is rented while we are on vacation. The home is 115 sqm and is furnished with an entrance, kitchen, living room, utility room, bathroom, one bedroom and two children's rooms. The house has a lovely conservatory as well as a new wooden terrace with outdoor furniture and gas grill. In the garden there is a trampoline, football goals and various outdoor games. If you want, you can borrow bikes. We have different children's bikes as well as our beloved electric cargo bike, which we also like to lend: -)

Nearby bike and pedestrian paths invite you to explore the surrounding towns. Denmark is just a few kilometers away, as is the small town of Tondern. Access is separate from the residential building.

Cabin in garden up to the forest

Small primitive cabin in quiet surroundings in our garden, up a small forest. There is a fire pit in the garden. Toilet and bath are in the stable building near the cottage. The farm is a small hobby farming with breeding of North American Curly horses. We have a Dog, cats and free range hens. You must like the smell of horses and animals around you 😊 The cottage is next to the main house where our family lives. We are located 4 km from the center of Tønder. 45 min drive from Rømø.

Halmhuset - The Straw House

Our thatched house is probably the only "Halmhuset" that is rented as a vacation home in Denmark. It is breathable, made of clay and straw, and is sustainably supplied by heat pump and photovoltaics. In summer, the thick walls provide pleasant coolness, in winter it is cozy and warm, with a room height of up to 4 meters. A real feel-good place for up to 8 people, located at the gates of the city of Tønder, close to the Wadden Sea National Park and the islands of Sylt and Rømø.
