Primitive Wooden Cabin located in the forest. Close to Bredeådal (natura 2000) with fine hiking and fishing opportunities. Draved old-growth forest and Rømø/Wadden Sea (UNESCO) are also within reach by car. The house is centrally located a few meters from Tønder's cozy pedestrian street with cafes and shops. There are a few meters to the park and the nature area at Vidåen. The marsh with all its experiences is right outside the door, and if you are into the Black Sun, there is plenty of opportunity to experience this amazing phenomenon. Our thatched house is probably the only "Halmhuset" that is rented as a vacation home in Denmark. It is breathable, made of clay and straw, and is sustainably supplied by heat pump and photovoltaics. In summer, the thick walls provide pleasant coolness, in winter it is cozy and warm, with a room height of up to 4 meters. A real feel-good place for up to 8 people, located at the gates of the city of Tønder, close to the Wadden Sea National Park and the islands of Sylt and Rømø.

What we most often hear about our cottage is that it has a nice atmosphere, that you feel welcome and at home and that it is cozy. We strive to make the cottage personal but also functional, which is why the decor is a good mix of new and old. We bought the cottage in 2018, renovating it a little along the way and as time allows. What we want is for the cottage to look cozy and personal. Our wish is that the house can be the framework for creating good memories.
