The old house at Solnes Farm

Part of duplex on active farm. We are the third generation to run the farm after my husband's grandparents received the farm as a wedding gift. Here you get to stay in the original farmhouse from around 1950. We live in the other part of the house. Cozy place, fully furnished and with everything you need for shorter or longer stays. We have 8 alpacas and many goats on the farm, you can join in the care on demand and if we have the opportunity in a busy everyday life as we are in full employment and have four small children.

There are many hiking opportunities; Storehesten, Lisjehesten, Dagsturhytta Skaraly, hunting opportunities, swimming in the fjord or in mountain lakes. Enjoy the relaxing and comfortable atmosphere of the Birdbox. Cozy, close to nature and peaceful. Lay down and sleep right beside nature and the amazing surroundings. Cabin near the Fjord

The Eldhuset is part of a farmyard. The cottage has its own terrace with a roof and its own parking. Livingroom and modern kitchen in the same room, two bedrooms and a new bathroom with washing machine. The bedrooms have double beds (150x200) and a built-in bed (150 x 200). The farm is located near the ferry terminal, Lavik, along the E39. The cabin is a great starting point for kayaking on the fjord, forest walks or easy mountain hikes. We have a motorboat, SUP, kayak and sauna for rent.

Bergen Airport Flesland is 40 minutes away by car. The ideal spot for hiking, exploring Bergen and the fjords, or just enjoy the peace and quiet at this inland island of Osterøy. Famous attractions like Flåm, Gudvangen, Sognefjord, Hardangerfjord, Voss and Trolltunga within daytrip distance.
