It is a retro old private house, but there are two separate bathrooms that can be used by men and women, and there are four toilets, so you can have a comfortable stay with your family or group. There is a pond with a waterfall in the front yard, and it is a beautiful biotope where various creatures live. Nearby is the castle town of Nanban Daimyo "Kamei Kagekatsu", who worked on the red-sealed ship trade with Siam (Thailand) during the Warring States period, and there are also famous landmarks and old-fashioned towns. Hamamura Coast, where you can surf and swim, and Mt. Washimine, with its beautiful beech forest, are also nearby. We have partnered with natural hot springs with source springs, dog runs, inns, etc., and you can receive benefits when you use them. Enjoy a relaxing time in a rural life blessed with history and nature. It is self check-in. We'll send you a message with check-in instructions after you complete your booking. We can provide a variety of activity plans, such as paddle boarding, bike tours, shower climbing, and stargazing tours. Catering services are also available upon request. Choose from a French chef (from 10,000 yen per person) or a Japanese wagyu beef set (3,500 yen or 5,500 yen). You can also pick blueberries in Daisen in summer. This is a guest house that is a renovated old house with a retro Showa-era feel. It is a kitchen & diner and a local gathering place where you can share the warmth of people and the life of the countryside. You can enjoy a nostalgic atmosphere in a small room that feels like a hideaway, up old-fashioned stairs that look like they belong in Totoro. It is a Japanese-style room with 8 tatami mats. There is a key at the entrance of the room, a full-length mirror, and a humidifier. There is an outlet, reading lamp, security box, and hangers. The shower, toilet, and kitchen are shared, and there are free drinks such as coffee. We ask guests to make their own beds. ※ To get to the room, you will need to climb a narrow, steep staircase. If you have mobility issues, please refrain. ※ Please keep an eye on small children as the stairs are right behind the door. In addition to this room, Temari has a bunk bedroom surrounded by trees like a secret base and a nostalgic Japanese-style room a little further away. Please check them out for your travel needs.

It is also close to shopping and restaurants, which is convenient. It is for 2 people, but if you don't mind it being a little small, it can accommodate up to 4 people. There is also a fully equipped kitchen where you can cook for yourself! You can also enjoy cooking with everyone. Basic cooking utensils and seasonings are provided. However, no barbecues or grilling indoors or outdoors. Breakfast includes bread, eggs, milk, yogurt, etc. The dairy products are from the local Oyama Dairy (Shirabara), so they are especially delicious! This is a private rental plan, so we cannot accept other reservations. If you have a schedule, we recommend booking early!

Our guest house is situated in a tranquil, nature-rich location beside Abe Station, an unmanned local railway station. We renovated an old house, slightly removed from the village, and began operations as a guest house in 2024. The name “Kurukuru” reflects our hope that many guests, along with local residents, will come and go in a continuous flow, just like the traditions and customs of this area, which are passed down from generation to generation.
