There are good conditions for sea fishing, ice climbing, and mountain tours and observation of the northern lights. Little light pollution. In winter there is a ski slope right by the cabin and many mountain peaks for randone that are within reach. Possibility to rent a boat for fishing from Senja Arctic Lodge or Senja Fjordhotell (must be booked separately).

The bathroom is furnished with a Cinderella incineration toilet and Cinderella urinal, shower cubicle and waiter . There is an open plan living room/kitchen solution and on the living room there is a TV. Has internet. There is no dishwasher or washing machine in the cabin. There is a private parking space. Cozy annex, perfect for enjoying the northern lights

Small and cozy annex, with just what you need to stay overnight. It is located in a peaceful and rural area on Sommarøy, right by the beach. The beach is great for small walks in summer and winter. Little light pollution, so perfect for enjoying the northern lights. The annex has a good double bed and a window overlooking the sea. There is a small bathroom, with shower, sink and toilet. There is a small hallway to hang out, a fridge where you can store some food and a kettle to make some coffee or tea.

The “Helge Ingstad”Cabin has been decorated and set-up with ever attention to detail to make your evenings with us comfortable and relaxed. Lovingly furnished with drift wood and natural materials the cabins accommodate five to six people. We have a sauna near the river (additional for 450NOK). The cabin is well equipped and is a perfect base for exploring Senja by foot, bicycle or car. You can drive to the door and park right outside. Very quiet area with a nice scenery to the fjord and mountains.
