Holiday rentals with lake access in Transdanubia

Marcus communicates super quickly and is easily accessible! The apartment is very spacious and the kitchen is super equipped! We'd love to come back!

We had an amazing stay at Eva’s place with our family! The house was spotless and had everything we could possibly need, from a fully equipped kitchen to comfortable living spaces. The kids absolutely loved the selection of toys, which kept them entertained throughout our stay, and the big garden was a perfect spot for them to run around and enjoy the outdoors. The location was fantastic as well—everything we needed was close by, from shops to parks, making it super convenient for our family. Eva was a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this place for anyone traveling with kids or looking for a peaceful, family-friendly getaway.

Wonderful experience. We stayed from 12/30 to 1/3. The house is in a place surrounded by greenery, in tranquility and a short walk from Trakoscan Castle (which can be seen from the garden). Everything is perfectly cared for, nothing is left to chance. We experienced “movie” evenings: fireplace, unique cabin atmosphere, dinners with family and friends, private spa. Only the snow was missing, otherwise really unforgettable moments. Toni and her daughter were always super available, even when we arrived late in the evening. They managed to find us a restaurant for dinner in no time. What can I say… I'd love to come back as soon as possible!

Gorgeous few days right on the water in beautiful Balaton. Very comfortable house and garden right on the lake. We enjoyed wading out in the lake with our child. The lake is very shallow (around 3ft) for over 100 meters so you can walk out very far on the mud/sand. I would definitely recommend renting/bringing Stand Up Paddle Boards or an inflatable boat so that you can get out to where the lake is deeper to swim. At the moment, these are not provided by the host. There had been a recent invasion of buzzing non-biting midges (Chironomidae/greenish insects) along the shores of Lake Balaton but they only really came out just after sunset and were fascinating to watch. Incredibly relaxing to wake up and have coffee on the dock. 5 star stay!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Szabolcs's place. The location was peaceful and beautiful, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. The house was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Szabolcs was a kind and attentive host, always ready to help if anything came up. We had a great week in Purbach over New Year's! The AirBnB was as described and perfectly equipped for 4 people! Communication also worked perfectly! We were particularly impressed by the location: Right on the lake, but also very close to Bratislava and Vienna! Thanks for a great stay :)

The apartment is functionally furnished, tidy and clean. The immediate neighborhood is quiet. We were able to enjoy the beautiful Lake Jarun and the recommended, inexpensive restaurant "Helena" on foot. We reached the center with the nearby tram in 30 minutes. Toni always kept us well informed and responded very quickly.

Adam’s place is a perfect getaway for couples in a really nice and peaceful surrounding.

The apartment has a great location: quiet on a lake with beautiful views of the lake from the living room/kitchen and from the large balcony. You can be in downtown within about 30-40 minutes by car. A great choice if you are looking for peace and quiet after a day of adventuring. Hosts are very friendly. The apartment is beautiful, spacious and practically furnished. I found the bed comfortable. I will be very happy to come back when I am in Budapest.

Beautiful place, and Anna is incredibly sweet and welcomed us warmly and helped us well. The garden and the view are really beautiful. There are many different places in the garden to enjoy this. the kitchen has everything to prepare a nice meal. we will definitely come back!
